Seems like there’s drama and shenanigans in the bbieal fandom again. Let’s go over some basics (eh heh) on being cool to one another:
1. People have the right to block you. Yeah, it can suck if you discover someone you like online blocks you, but just as you can block anyone, so can they. No one has to have a 5 page essay as to why they block you; it could be simply that you weird them out or annoy them. On the same note; if someone blocks you, don’t go whining publicly about and demand them to unblock you. That ain’t cool.
2. Stop demanding free art. Mind you, I really do appreciate all of you for the support and fun I’ve had in the bbieal fandom. That being said, artists like myself don’t owe you art. This is a hobby for us, not a full time job. I love drawing for everyone, but things happen that can prevent me from doing art. Running up to an artist and demanding art is rude and selfish. This sort of behavior is what causes people to leave fandoms, sometimes permanently. This also bleeds into the next point…
3. Stop with the self pity and trying to manipulate people into giving you attention. I’ve seen this happening a lot lately. Whining about how it’s your birthday or you’ve been having a bad day and people should give you art doesn’t make you look sympathetic; it makes you look like an attention whore. It’s one thing simply talking about having an unpleasant time just to get stuff off your chest; it’s another thing when you’re trying to force people into giving you attention. Doing this sort of thing makes you look like the spoiled child that screams and cries until another kid gives them what they want. Do you want to look like that brat? No you don’t.
That’s just a quick rundown of stuff people need to chill on. Let’s not let this fandom fall into the pits like FNAF or Undertale; let’s be cool to one another.
