hey, so thoughts on Bambi maybe?
THAT GUY PRACTICALLY LOBOTOMIZED HIMSELF TO THE POINT HE COULDN'T POSSIBLY BE A THREAT. I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT DAVE SEES IN HIM, HE'S PATHETIC...
i like planting exotic, non-native plants near the entrance to his barn and make them grow extra fast! it's really funny seeing him get angry about the sudden appearance of a baobab tree blocking his door!
WOW! Psychtogo! a youtube channel dedicated to mental health and psychology! I sure hope they are respectful and don’t spread ableist rhetoric about people with npd!
another bsky request, first time drawing cameo!
*guy who doesnt know anything learning about his first thing* wow this is just like nothing
Black History Month: Did you know?
The three-light traffic signal was invented by a Black man named Garrett Morgan.
Garrett Morgan had only an elementary school education and was the son of a formerly enslaved man. Nevertheless, Morgan surmounted these difficulties and is responsible for many important inventions. Most notably, Morgan invented the three-light traffic signal in 1923.
While driving one day, Morgan witnessed a serious car crash at an intersection. This sparked his idea to add a third light to the traffic signal which would warn drivers of an impending red light. His patent was granted in 1924, and after early installments of the three-light traffic signal were successful, they spread throughout the country and became the three-light signal many of us encounter daily.
People with psychotic disorders are neurodivergent too.
People with personality disorders are neurodivergent too.
People with substance abuse disorders are neurodivergent too.
People with tic disorders are neurodivergent too.
People with bipolar disorder are neurodivergent too.
People with dissociative disorders are neurodivergent too.
Neurodivergence isn’t just ADHD, autism, anxiety, and depression. (Plus those last two also get left out sometimes!) Neurodivergence is anything that affects your brain.
“Neurodivergent people hate loud noises” is actually just as valid as a statement as “neurodivergent people have delusions,” “neurodivergent people have tics,” or even “neurodivergent people have low empathy.”
Uglydolls confession: I don't think I'd care about the movie as much as I do if it didn't leave its lore so open-ended.
The questions this movie leaves unanswered all thanks to the curse of "a second director having to rewrite the script in only a fraction of the time due to copyright and deadlines" are very fun for me to answer. I love world building for stories, and the preset of such cute characters makes it all the more fun!
While I wish there was more official material for the fandom to dive into, it's rather a blessing that my imagination can continue to run wild for however long it takes. I'd give up the effort completely if that second movie ever got made, adding on to the lore in ways I can't work with, no doubt about it.
Where would I be without Uglydolls feeding my creativity... I guess return to writing my own stories about mythical creatures in a medieval setting and earning a lot of money of of them. Or planting flowers in my yard, it could go either way lmao
