Idc what you think, I want Elriel to fight after the solstice scene. I want Elain to be even more mad because he ignored her. I want them to act like nothing happened in the beginning and then Az confronts her for whatever reason and I want her to be “oh I thought we were acting like it never happened, since you ignored me all this time”. And I want him to be like “I just think that you misinterpreted what happened and i think we should talk”. And then her to be like “oh now you want to talk? Ok.” And sbam. Gets mad, tells him everything she’s thinking with no filters whatsoever, throws flowers at him. Everything without crying at all, while Az is standing there like “oh shit”.

I mean my girl has been rejected too many times and ignoring her for months after that makes it even worse. Plus she’s always elegant and formal, even when she fights with Nesta. I want her to be like “fuck all of this, I deserve good things”.

this actually makes alot of sense lol Feyre and Rhys were lovesick teens who didn't think about the future and the consequences of them dying together and leaving Velaris with no rulers but 1) it's a book give them a break 2) I doubt that if Rhys dies Feyre would want to live anyways nevermind RULE and vice versa. Yes, rulers are supposed to be selfless and all that stuff but at the end of the day they still have FEELINGS and they were the love of each other's lives. That doesn't make them an amazing ruler, but it doesn't make them bad rulers either. Also if that happens, Velaris IS better off with another ruler 3) if Feyre dies, Nyx was never gonna survive anyways cuz he was like 3 months premature or smth so he wont be an orphan he'll just be.. uh.. dead 4) Bro who the heck decides to not have a child because they think they're gonna die??? People have children assuming they will live to see their child grow up???

I know some readers can’t forgive Rhys for withholding the pregnancy from Feyre.

But I can’t forgive Feysand for putting their baby and court in danger constantly from their death bargain. The bargain is still in place and NO ONE SHOULD THEM BREAK IT FOR THEM. For once, I want them to pay for their selfish deeds. All that fucking power they have is completely wasted.

Parallels between Feyre and Helen’s ‘abductions’

Kind of implies that Feyre IS Helen of Troy or at least her character shares a few parallels with her

Helen of Troy is known as “The face that launched a thousand ships”

which calls out Tamlin’s alliance with Hybern and the whole drama he started about Rhys ‘stealing’ his fiancée

My favorite part of Feyre and Rhys meeting for the first time in chapter 21 is how she’s sitting there describing how magnificent he is, how she’s never seen someone so handsome, how “the night seeming to press in closer around him”, “As if he’d been molded from the night itself”, “tendrils of star-kissed night trailed in his wake”

And this mf who is obviously reading her mind is just 😏😏😏😏 the whole time. He’s so annoying 😂
