Hi, @gokyacetakal, I did not quite hit the mark with this, but I think I failed successfully nevertheless. I was planning on doing something with Boost and Sinker, too, but couldn't think of anything so far. Answering like this so I can keep the ask in case inspiration strikes after all!

They're playing mancala! Since it only needs a board and some pebbles I figured it's something Wolffe could have easily made as a child-appropriate bonding activity not involving jetpacks or explosives.

hi just wanted to pop in and say i adore that rex and cody piece you just posted (': idk how long it took you to make it (i imagine quite some time; it's so detailed and pretty?!?!) but i'm glad you decided to take longer on it and do the cool lighting cause it looks amazing!!! (also cody and rex with the different rankings on their greys is really fun and i'm impressed with the attention to accuracy!! ...and also bless you for putting them in greys :D we need more clones in greys and gosh you made them look so good!!!)

Also in his Greys, only that they’re black because my quick research showed that that’s what non-officers seem to get? Maybe? It’s all very vague.

Tech in The Bad Batch 1.08 Reunion

Cody excited for a joint mission with the 501st because he gets to work with Rex vs the moment he remembers it means working with General Skywalker too

a newly deployed shiny somehow ends up on earth and enjoys the gentle breeze under the clear starry skies….

based on a post (i forgot who made it) where omega’s curious reaction with nature implies that shinies would react the same way when they finally get in touch with nature ;w; 

i listened to this while drawing it ehehe

here are some close ups!!

Looking at the command clones’ armor can tell you a lot about them.

First we have Fox. The man sticks to his aesthetic. He’s got minute scratches running along quite a bit of his armor (and people say the guard doesn’t do anything. The boy has scratches on the face of his helmet! Who was he dealing with?). The white of his armor is as clean as a shiny’s and the red paint is well kept. The public image of the clones probably comes from what civilians see of the Coruscant Guard, so you better bet he’s gonna keep his paint looking tip top to help his brothers on the front lines.

Next is Rex. His armor looks older, tinged yellow with time and dirt. The blue paint is old but the tally marks come through loud and clear. It gives the captain a bit of a worn look, making him seem older than his age but also showing he’ll stick to what’s important.

Here we have Cody, colors matching his general (hmm). His armor. I have. No words. The gAUGES CODY ARE YOU OKAY? There are slight scorch marks and heavy scratches in the paint. But, the paint itself doesn’t look old. This is the mark of a madman. Cody yeets himself at every given opportunity and it’s written all over his armor. While he takes care of it, it’s also his only line of defense when he dogpiles grievous. Also, the sunburst patterns are lovely.

This man’s entire look (and battalion) is designed after his name. The little growly wolf teeth are kind of adorable and the fur patterns make for a uniquely identifiable aesthetic. It’s funny though because Wolffe has a redesigned look every time he’s on screen. Wolffe is a not-so-closeted diva. His paint is perfect and without a single flaw. Everything about Wolffe and the Wolfpack is adorable (and I’m sure plo koon tells them so on the regular).

I won’t spoil anything, but in this scene, Fox was just reminded of how low many people’s opinions of clones are. It makes me angry and breaks my heart at the same time. T____T

I had sooo much fun with the paint job on Fox’s Phase I armor, and playing around with Riyo’s fancy outfit was challenging but also a good time!
