While I don’t care much for evil Marcy, but if you were to go that route, I’d bring up how Anne has been living Marcy’s dream with no strings attached. Like seriously, she’s the one who gets to be a hero, who gets cool powers, she’s the one with the found family(ngl the double standard always bothers me)

For not being a big fan of evil Marcy, you REALLY fed my brain worms with this LMAO. I NEED to include this, but I kinda missed the main chance since I already wrote the only actual/direct Anne vs Darcy fight… HOWEVER!!! I’ll probably try to make Marcy realize at some point that she was extremely jealous, just unconsciously covering it up with anger and excuses until she calmed down or whatever. I mean this still works imo since Marcy wouldn’t want to focus on ways that she could possibly be beneath Anne, so she would just talk about the ways that Anne failed her.

TOH gets so much angst but we want some food tooooo :<. The thing is that I blame Disney, not the Amphibicrew. TOH is soooo good with emotional stories but they were cancelled and I’m sure angst was part of the reason why it “DiDn’T fIt ThE dIsNeY bRaNd”. So I feel like Matt was just scared of that happening to Amphibia and reeled back. I hope that Disney at least learns from their mistake of cutting off a show before realizing how popular it was >:T

Btw I thought you might like to know that when I clicked on your profile and saw ur banner, I had to bury my face in my blanket for a couple seconds to calm down the immense and conflicting feelings of amusement, disappointment, and fear LMAO

This where I’m gonna ramble about Anne’s nonchalance and near indifference towards Marcy’s whole situation despite, not only supposedly wielding the “heart” gem (which embodies empathy, selflessness, and responsibility), but also the fact that she has been friends with Marcy since before kindergarten and has previously been very protective of her.

It’s @froggythesculptor’s birthdayyy!!! To celebrate, I drew an idea she had about the core arms acting like Darcy’s (evil Marcy’s) little pets in our AU :3

WAIT since the frobots seem to be capable of free will… Imagine Darcy caught a butler bot sabotaging her and it said, “have fun with that, flip phone!” in its little fucking accent before flying out a window. She stood there speechless for a second then spluttered and ran over to the ledge to shout, “WELL, YOU DON’T EVEN KNOW WHAT THAT IS!!” She grumbled then turned to stomp out of the room but spun back around and quickly added, “WALL-E!!!!!” in the most wrathful tone possible.

I’ve never seen anyone else write, draw, or even mention this concept so I’ve got a hot take for y’all:

Darcy comes up with all sorts of fun derogatory names to call their frobots.

Like imagine one can’t find something they told it to grab for them and they scream, “IT’S RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOUR FACE, YA WAFFLE IRON!!”

Or a bot bumps against them in the hall and they shove it out of the way and say “Watch it, roomba!”

Or a couple are trying to lift something and Darcy sighs and goes, “You pathetic crockpots, PUT YOUR BACKS INTO IT!!”

It’s even in character imo. I mean Darcy has Marcy’s memories from Earth so they’d still know plenty of household appliances to compare some bots to hehe.
