He loves it. His clothes are black, his nails are black, he jokes that his soul is black, though that's more to piss off his dad.

But he's never not liked it. The way it's just unapologetically there.

Then, it is harder to say what his favorite color is. Because suddenly, he has an obsession with green.

Not the green of grass- that's too bright. Nor is it the green of the apples that always sit on the table during meals at Hogwarts. It's not even Slytherin green, though he pretend it is for a while. It's paler, but deeper. More intense.

It's the green of Evan's eyes.

He can't admit it for years, he still insists that black is his favorite.

But when he's sixteen, and he finally pushes aside the fear and the self-loathing to admit his obsession is actually yearning, he meets those green eyes seconds before their lips touch in the most mind-blowing kiss he's ever experienced.

And he knows that green will forever be his favorite color.

Until a flash of green light takes Evan away from him forever.

I cannot believe there's absolutely no way to watch free shows and movies anymore, there are too many paid streaming platforms and pirating websites have viruses and ads preventing you from watching it uninterrupted((.)) id rather follow the rules and purchase media moving forward because it is too inconvenient.
