Kryptonians are predator species that traditionally hunted using endurance, stalking their prey for days and miles with single minded focus. Evolutionarily, that intensity never really faded. Furthermore, Kryptonians often inherently connected interests to purpose and thus to personality. I mean, in Krypton’s later half of existence they literally started breeding Kryptonians in a caste system that designated purpose at birth, obviously these beings meant for one thing are going to be invested in that one thing with their whole kryptussy. Kal-El might have been a natural birth but his parents weren’t. His grand parents weren’t. He definitely inherited that interests=purpose=personality psychological pipeline.
This is all to say that Clark Kent has been known to exhibit very very normal Kryptonian behaviors and psychology but comes off as wildly autistic to humans. That man doesn’t ever just focus. He hyperfocuses. He doesn’t have hobbies, he has special interests and obsessions. Bless him.
the way this one page made all my dreams come true. all these promises fulfilled but especially oiks and iwachan being opponents on a national level and oikawa being there to “defeat everyone” as he said he would and as he deserves
I find when Mando does this - it’s oddly attractive and I can’t explain why.
“It’s… it’s good… *sniff*”
Realizing You Have to Wait for Almost an Entire Year for the Second Season of The Mandalorian: A Moodboard (feat. Pedro Pascal)
ok what about reader asking some silly questions out of curiosity and Mando indulging them, like what happens when he gets sick/is sneezing while unable to remove the helmet, how he learned to cut his own hair etc. - I think it would be really cute :,)
Just a quick drabble before I go to bed!

“Have you ever gotten a cold?” you asked.
“Worse has happened,” he answered plainly.
“No, I mean what happens when you get symptoms of a cold?”
He walked around silently, doing what he needed to do. You were down in the hull of the Crest, watching as he made some minor repairs. You’d noticed he was in a more permissive mood than usual, and decided to take the opportunity.
“You know…sneezing, tissues needed, that sort of stuff,” you elaborated.
He sighed. “I take it off. I usually don’t have other living things around,” he answered in a monotone voice, though you thought you could detect a hint of playfulness.
“I’ve been staying on this ship with you for how long now, and I’ve never heard you cough or anything,” you noted.
“You asked if I’d ever had a cold, not when the last time I had one was.”
“What, the armor protects you on the outside and the inside, too?” you teased.
You have no idea, he thought. “Something like that.”
“How long have you had to take care of yourself on your own?” you asked, a little more seriously.
“Long before I came of age,” he said after a pause.
“You had to learn all the basics on your own? You have to shave, and cut your hair, right?”
“Yes.”
You didn’t add anything else, just watched him quietly. He sighed again after a few moments.
“It doesn’t take much to figure out how to use a blade and cut so that the hair doesn’t fall into your eyes,” he said, simply.
He was a practical man.
You didn’t want to bother him any longer so you dropped the questions.
“Well…I consider values and integrity to be “basics”, as well,” you said quietly. “And I’d bet the Mandalorians would be proud of who you’ve become.”
You suddenly felt bolder. “If you get a cold and I’m around, maybe I can help you with that next time. You shouldn’t have to do everything alone.” You looked up at him once, then climbed back up to the top.
Din gazed in your direction for a few moments after you were gone, then shook his head at himself. He wasn’t getting any better at keeping you out of his thoughts. Anymore of your playful teasing and kindness, and he wouldn’t be able to keep the walls up for much longer.
it’s officially March 22 so I am now allowed to post this:
Ever notice how he was still innocent in his first years of Kitagawa Daichi? A lot of people assumed that it was because of Oikawa bullying him a lot that he got tired and just did what he wanted.
But no it’s because his grandfather, the one that got him into to volleyball in the first place, who he always looked for every day to play, died. That’s what caused him to snap and have all these negative emotions around him.
That would also explain this: (credits to @iwillstillopenthewindow )
