Wait okay but I don’t get this analogy at all. Like, is it saying that in adulthood you think you’re doing good but you were actually watching someone else? When does that happen? Am I just stupid?

I may like Gaslight District a little more than what I've expected.
I did not heard of PartTimeSeagull, (the show's creator) before this pilot, but boy, he did managed to create a great lore and characters, and somehow, the 3D animator team behind it made a spectacular work. If you got some time, go watch the behind the scene.
Also love the soundtrack ! Once again, I made good discovery there, but I just love the song used here.
Other than that, I just love theses characters. They're silly and fun to draw.

Day 10.
Anon... thank you. I know this isn't exactly what you asked for. Tomorrow, I will draw Susie as a worm.
a newly discovered species of spider - the jotus remus, a jumping spider about the size of an apple seed found in australia - has an unusual ‘hard to get’ courtship ritual. when courting a female, the male hides on the underside of a leaf occupied by a female, and uses the heart shaped paddle on its leg to get her attention.
jumping spiders are known for their elaborate courtships, but no other jumping spider has ever been seen to display this kind of ‘peekaboo’ behaviour, nor is any other spider known to have these paddles (or remus in latin) on any of their legs. (video)
