I need you to understand that when I say "comments are appreciated!" I mean that I will reply to every one of them. I mean that an email with an ao3 notification has a higher priority than a message from my mother. I mean that I will have entire discussions in the comment section if you're up for it. Message me on tumblr and I will have the same discussions on an even more unhinged level. I will dissect entire personalities and ships and fictional political structures and worldbuilding with you. I will become your new best friend. You already ARE my new best friend. At the last battle, I would raise Anduril and say "For my ao3 readers" while a single tears rolls down my cheek, and dive into the fray. I would upload from beyond the grave if someone asked about the next chapter
I don’t care if I “pass”. I want to look into the mirror and see something that feels like me.
“man i’m glad none of my irl friends can see the shit i post on tumblr”
then i remember
the point of writing is to make your readers feel either sick or shattered. either make them feel so disgusted they taste bile in their throats, or make them feel so devastated and heartbroken they’ll never be the same again
“Be curious about what you’re writing about” is not stock Common Writing Advice but it really, really should be. There are a lot of written works that fail due to the authors just being obviously incurious about what they are writing about.
was talking to my gf about my fear of dying young for being trans and my mom putting my deadname on my gravestone, and she said "i hope that never happens, but if it does, i will carve your name into your grave myself if i have to." and i think theres something extremely raw about that sentiment and trans community in general. you can kill only our bodies, but you cant kill transsexuality
my own little character strawberrie but she’s ready for the winter :P

todays mood:
“sometimes i feel like i’m just like a boat upon a winding river, twisting towards an endless black sea, further and further, drifting away from where i want to be… who i want to be..”

Love nonbinary people forever, regardless of how they look, how they present, what pronouns do they look or whether they want to pursue medical transition or not. An AMAB nb person has a beard and looks like a bear? Good for them. An AFAB agender person is breasting boobily down the stairs? Good for them! A genderflux person decides to pursue medical transition and still be genderflux? Fantastic stuff imo. A nonbinary person does not want to disclose their ASAB? Also great! Again, love nonbinary people forever, unconditionally so.
