so!! these are the first couple of concepts for that witcher roleswap au i’m workin on

yennefer is a witcher, school of the wolf bc i dont want to over complicate things. even as a witcher she’s ambitious, so she gets hired on by queen calanthe as a live in monster hunter and combat specialist. when pavetta dies, yen takes up a maternal role for ciri, training her and keeping her safe.

geralt is still the one who claims ciri as a child surprise, but he does it as a laugh bc he read about it in his mythos classes and thought it would be neat if royalty owed him something. yen ends up going through a lot of the classic geralt stories looking for ways to break the bond between him and ciri, and ends up working with geralt more often than not. yennefer is also trans, so jot that down.

Part 6 - AU wherein Yennefer is left as a baby on the doorstep of Aretuza and Tissaia takes her in. Yennefer's started getting rather curious about magic and though she hasn't shown any ability to control Chaos yet, Tissaia starts to teach her a few things.
