I actually enjoyed both the process AND the result on this one!!! I think this is the direction I need to try to carry the rest of my work — organic shapes with solid lines, loose colouring and linework, little to no separation of layers (working painterly), and being a bit freer with my selection of colours.

too many gods are carrying the earth itself on their scarred backs, but the sun is hung perfectly in the sky and wolves and fawns play well together with or without a god to watch their games, so - relax. and shrug your shoulders.
