I know canonically shes the embodiment of Death, but I always thought it'd be cool if it was a thing of "death lurks in everything" and thus she sort of wears the world as a dress- and of course she only got up to watch her husband fly lol

I actually enjoyed both the process AND the result on this one!!! I think this is the direction I need to try to carry the rest of my work — organic shapes with solid lines, loose colouring and linework, little to no separation of layers (working painterly), and being a bit freer with my selection of colours.
