Now, I know this isn't the actual 59e59 performance, but I LITERALLY just found this little excerpt from the bus and I just HAD to share it!!! Its so neat to see this actually being performed!!

Okay I'm having to use two different productions for the photos of sandy but it doesn't really matter too much as it its done by the same people? (Studio 42/intar and apac are basically the same production)but here!

(Keep in mind all the costumes do look like this as gregory did infact state that the cheaper the look the better. But I think that's what makes them so much more creative!)

Going by character here. Starting with miranda:

Loving the use of rubber gloves in place for the tentacles. Glasses from the 2nd pic may have been changed as judging by amelias haircut AND the lack of camp logo on the shirt it was before billy witch actually began performances but hey!

Then we have sandy:

Sandy sort of goes through two changes through the play. The first one being the white highlights /extensions shown in her hair in the first image, and then the second being the whole, fake fur and the whole tail and ears thing. (If you notice in the 2nd image, from intars production, Maria's sandy has less prominent ears. Whereas Liz's sandy has more prominent ears!)

And finally. Arden:

Arden.... is the one the goes through the least changes id say? Not two sure. But obviously first is the change with the fake fur, fake teeth and everything. (And if you see behind lance rubin, Fake tail too!) And on the 2nd change he wears a bright orange jacket. Obviously representing the fox that his character arden changes into! (The 2nd photo is a litttle weirder. But to the people who haven't read the play there is context to the whole look on his face I can assure you! Though... I dont think the context would make it too much better...)

I could go on about these costumes for AGESSS though. But I hope these photos were okay !!! I'm always up for sharing production photos!!!

Okay, genuine question for yall who have actually read billy witch on here. Have yall actually seen what the animal/transformation costumes look like? Cause I've been digging up so much content over the last... year (?) That I'm completely unaware of what people have seen of the play and what they haven't??

She’s also wasian! This was a bit self indulgent but I love to think of my favourite characters having things in common with me <333 And I realised that if I want to draw something then I just can! That’s what’s so cool about art.

I think most of the academia nuts production photos were deleted off of Facebook.

a couple of maria-christina oliveras' persephone sketches because she was an absolute joy to watch and my favorite part of seeing hadestown on tour a few months ago i would not change it for anything.

whenever i remember specific moments and snapshots of that day she is the one thats often in them. i remember her sitting in the balcony, walking around the stage, the little bits and body jokes she made throughout the play. i am not sure i can properly explain why i loved her performance so much (other than the obvious of her being an extremely talented woman), i can only say that her persephone just inspired so much fondness in me, the same fondness with which i look at the women of my family and think of how much better they have deserved in their life. i wanted things to get better for her, i felt the weight that she carried in her soul, i understood her character in a way i hadn't before

so yeah, i think her persephone will always have a special place in my heart and i am so lucky she was the first one i got to see.

(ft a lil nathan lee graham because he was also incredible and i am so so sorry and mad a phone alarm went off during road to hell reprise because he was killing it)

Emma the musical has officially started its run at the denver center and this piece is finally finished!! I'm so damn happy with how it turned out!! 🍓💘🎀
