THEY ARE LITERALLY MY OTP RAAAAAAAH
The number of people that mentioned they never heard of Conquering Boyfriends blew my mind sooooooo, I present you a CB compilation <3
First time I do something like this, so the editing is kinda atrocious lol
guys was slugterra really gay or was it just me
DO IT.
Slugterra
Not to yap about headcannons unprompted (jk I am doing exactly that) but I kinda like to imagine that the Slugnet treats the more important members of Blakk Industries (especially the ones who are already popular Slugslingers like C.C) sorta like how online spaces in our world treat real celebrities or like boybands or something. I'm talking stans, going crazy when a member leaves, shipping wars, all of it.
I say they only Kind of added it because while the one they added looks exactly like the Wild Spectre VD (the official name of Saturday's blaster) the one they added is called the Spectral Staff and according to its description, is a replica
What strikes me as odd is with all of the other blasters that specifically belonged to villains (C.C and John Bull) or neutral mercenaries(Frost and Flame), the names are unchanged and will say something like "was once wielded by (insert name here)" so why is this one specifically singled out as a replica with Saturday's name unmentioned?
Does this mean that the location of Saturday's blaster is unknown and the rest have been taken from their respective owners?
is it only a replica because Saturday is being added as a boss at some point and both allowing the player to fight him with his own blaster or taking away his iconic one wouldn't make sense?
Who made the replica and why?
Realest post ever
also fun fact: not only is he the first character to use a staff blaster but his blaster might be the only one which can't fire slugs
That's it, that's the post.
I just think he's cool, and we don't see enough of him!
Also, he is the first person we see using a Staff Blaster, as it would be episodes later until we're introduced to the Unbeatable Master.
I love ROTE but one thing i'm kinda mad they never showed us is Blakk fighting the Goon in his mind to try and maintain control like they did with Eli in Ghoul From Beyond.
Like I get why they didn't because they needed to put more focus on Will Shane being not dead but it would have been interesting to see the different approach the Goon would have had to take to get Blakk to lose control since Blakk is A: not similar to Eli mentally at all and B: still conscious while in GFB Eli was knocked out
"the truth is, in this life... we only have ourselves" - Dr. Blakk in Back to Blakk
Hey Dr. Blakk a word of advice, maybe you would have more friends if you stopped being mean to all of your allies for no reason.
like broski, maybe if the primary motivator for all of your allies (not just the people you hire) wasn't fear you would have more people stick around until the end other than Maurice and Nacho (and Maurice didn't even join the final fight against the Shane Gang)
Examples:
Locke, Lode, John Bull, and C.C only want to bust Blakk out of Stalagmite 17 for the rewards.
Throws Quintin out of the Titan in Upgrade for basically no reason.
Sends Nacho to the deep caverns for basically no reason in The New Kid part 2.
Calls Mr. Saturday's mind control "mind control foolishness" after he CAPTURED THE SHANE GANG and TOOK OVER THE MOST ESCAPE PROOF PRISON IN ALL OF SLUGTERRA like my brother in Brimstone is it THAT hard to go ONE CONVERSATION without insulting someone.
there are probably several more examples of this that I can't remember off the top of my head.
I understand that he is the main antagonist but being this mean to your own comrades is just bad strategy dude.
Blakk's now probably ex-allies might not be 100% sure he's alive but the things they probably say about him in their totally real group chat must be legendary
According to the wiki he has super rich parents but like WHY WAS THAT NEVER A PLOT POINT
Look, basically all of Blakk's higherd Slingers had some sort of gimmick
(you can fight me on that)
But C.C.? He was literally some guy that was there for the on-call/9-5 pay.
Look at him, JUST LOOK^^^
this man was just there to take orders and get payment.
Also, it's wild. We see more of C.C. than literally any other minor villain. With the exception of Lock and Load. I wana say we see them just as often.
Like during the Light Well episode, I was half expecting Twist to show up, to have him be the one that followed Eli, not Blakk.
But it's C.C. leading what's basically a small army of Blakk's goons against that Shadow Clan and the Shane Gang. You would think Blakk's 'apprentice' [Twist] would be trusted with something like that!
I just find it amazing that probably out of everyone working at Balkk Industries, C.C. is probably the most normal person working there next to the nameless grunts in uniform.
"zombies showed up about 12 hours ago grabbing people and hauling them away" Millard Milford at about 4 minutes and 16 seconds
HOW HAS SATURDAY BEEN THERE FOR 12 HOURS
WHAT WAS HE DOING FOR 12 HOURS
Like when Pronto first gets grabbed and dragged to Saturday's base (the food court) he's just chilling on his throne
Unrelated question, WHY DOES HE HAVE HIS OWN THRONE
It's even designed to resemble his blaster so it's probably custom
How much is Blakk paying this guy
Was Saturday seriously just sitting on his throne doing nothing for 12 hours prior to the Shane Gang showing up
No wonder he asks the zombies to bring him more cushions and big screens that throne looks uncomfortable as hell and he's BORED OUT OF HIS MIND
throne and blaster for reference
(Side note but the throne is actually like super cool)
I mostly post Slugterra memes(I am in other fandoms)
