Wrecker: When Are You Gonna Fall In Love?

Can we please normalise tagging posts as character x M! Reader or character x F! Reader. Same with GN! Reader fics because I'm non binary and I can't find any good fics that I can try imagine aren't fem. No hate to people who write for a fem reader but please tag your shit accordingly

Younger Silco, Vander and Benzo Headcanons

I took a very brief break from writing to do something just for fun and to clear my head a bit.

So! I've been having some serious brain rot over these three, and I also absolutely cannot get it out of my head that they shared a place at some point in time and the delightful chaos that ensued with their varied habits and mannerisms. For your consideration:

Eating Habits:

Silco-

No one in the Undercity is a picky eater. Food is too precious

That being said he does have SOME standards

If it's still moving that's a hard no. He'll dispatch it himself if needed

Not a fan of especially spicy foods

Actually enjoys cooking and experimenting with spices and more complex flavors

Wishes the other two would eat slower to appreciate his efforts instead of just inhaling it

Secret sweet tooth. Has a hiding spot for any treats he gets so Benzo and Vander don't 'accidentally' eat them

Vander-

Connoisseur of just about anything. Even things he probably shouldn't be eating

"Vander those leftovers are no good anymore"

"I'll be fine!" (Is somehow miraculously fine)

Banned from cooking after the lobster incident

Tries to get as much protein as possible-gotta build those muscles

"Ya gonna finish that?"

Knows where Silco's stash is but resists the temptation out of respect and knowing revenge would be swift

Benzo-

His standards fall somewhere between the other two, between "Is that edible...?" :< and "Ooh is that edible?! :D

Is the reason they all eat semi-well due to his deals with traders and merchants and access to more and better foods

Will take turns with Silco doing the cooking

Has a more limited repitore but they're all not bad

Is the guy who'll just casually chomp into a hot pepper. Especially if a bet is involved

Fast food junkie

Also knows where Silco's stash is and is the reason it had to be moved

Sleeping/cleaning/etc. down below! :) ⬇️

Sleeping Habits:

Silco-

Light sleeper

Refuses to wear ear plugs out of concern for their place being broken into ('What if I sleep through it?!')

Long pants/long sleeve shirt or tshirt if it's hot

Tea (or whiskey if available) and some reading before bed

Has a ridiculous amount of pillows (and a knife under them)

Sleeps curled in fetal position or on back with arms crossed over his stomach

Talks in his sleep but it's never comprehensible

Vander-

Falls asleep quickly but tends to wake up several times a night

Would probably sleep naked if given the chance but wears boxers and sometimes sweat pants

Sometimes has a smoke before bed (blowing the smoke out the window after the others gave him shit for it)

Only uses a blanket if it's especially cold

Snores but not loudly-more of a snort

Will occasionally...*cough* relieve some tension to help himself get to sleep

Sprawls across the bed or lays on his stomach

Benzo-

Out cold and not even an earthquake could wake him

Sleeps in whatever he's wearing or sometimes nothing if it's too hot

Says a brief prayer for luck every night

Midnight snack king

Does this little squeaking, babbling snore (did not believe the others until Vander recorded it once to prove it)

Burrows under a pile of blankets

Starfish or side-sleeper

Hygiene/Cleaning/Clothing Habits:

Silco-

Is quite fastidious with his personal hygiene

Brushes his hair and teeth as best as possible every day and styles his hair carefully

Bathes or at least showers as frequently as resources and money allow

"Just because we live in a dumpster doesn't mean we must smell or look like it"

Almost fell asleep in the tub more than once

Has a prized bottle of very expensive cologne he stole from a shop in Piltover

Will steal or bargain for the best clothes he can get ("If you're going to command respect, one should look the part")

Vander-

"Eh, I bathed...a few days back. Just gonna get filthy again anyway"

Is the gremlin that stands outside in the rain with a bar of soap and calls it a day ("I'm savin' time and money washing m'self and my clothes!")

Has had to be coerced/threatened into getting in the tub

But once he's in there good luck getting him back out-he'll bring a beer or two and make a little party of it

One thing he's picky about; his hair. Likes to carefully comb and style it. One of his favorite features about himself

Goes for clothing that's hard-wearing and practical/easy to move in

Doesn't do much with the facial hair-keeps it from being too messy that's it

Benzo-

Bathes when necessary "Like a normal person!"

Often the one who has to clean the bathroom when the others forget/refuse

Always uses his favorite spice-scented soap he trades for and will not share

Constantly has hangnails

Puts work into keeping his facial hair styled how he likes

Also likes to keep his style practical and more simple but likes to add some embellishment when able

Has a rubber duck he absolutely refuses to admit to having

tech: WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT?

What your favourite Bad Batcher says about you!

Not to be taken seriously, just a few traits I’ve picked up in people, based on who their favourite Bad Batcher is. Gender-neutral!

Hunter - You are a fan of one of these things, if not both: rough and rugged men who come across as dominant, but are actually submissive, OR sad little wet dogs. You know those ’sponsor an animal today!’ adverts, and they show you all the animals with their sad lil’ eyes gawking at the camera? Yeah, that’s Hunter. You probably have a comfort item of some kind - a teddy, blankey, pillow, etc - and heaven forbid you ever wash that thing. They’re fragile, okay?! Holding hands is one of your favourite forms of affection, along with head massages, and words of affirmation. You big, sappy baby.

Tech - Nerrrrd. No seriously, you’ve got to be a geek of some sort. That, or you’re the total opposite to him. A goth, perhaps? Maybe you like Tech because he reminds you of your dorky high school days when you were bullied for your basic interests. On a brighter note, Tech fans are always sweet and kind, straightforward, possibly a little… autistic. You probably own a fidget item of some kind, and you love ‘floor time.’ Oh, and one of your favourite things on a man are their thighs - perfect cushions!

Wrecker - You’re 100% an angel, alright?! I’ve never met a Wrecker fan who isn’t the sweetest soul to ever grace this earth. You’re probably not into the gym - if anything, you prefer food, and you’re more than happy with your size and figure. You always have that one jacket that you wear, despite having a wardrobe full of others. Bright colours are your favourite because they’re positive, and who doesn’t want to be surrounded by bright and happy colours? You probably also own that Lula plush too, or you’ve made your own. Crafty lil’ nerd.

Echo - Either you drink wine, or gin. Or you don’t drink at all. There’s no middle ground here. You definitely sleep in a bed full of blankets and pillows, only to push them off during the night because you’re too damn hot! Cuddles are a very comforting thing to you, and one of your favourite forms of love language. You’re either incredible at maths, or shit. Overall, you’re soft and tender, but damn, you can bark when you really want to, and Maker forbid that anybody ever feels your bite!!

Crosshair - Okay, but… you don’t have daddy issues, that’s the thing. Everybody assumes that because you’re a little edgy, when in reality, your trauma stimulates from elsewhere. Childhood bullying, perhaps? You know how everybody is either a black cat, or a golden retriever? Yeah, you’re a black cat, but that doesn’t mean you prefer solitude. You don’t let just anyone into your circle - trust is a big thing, and it takes a long time to build up with you. However, when someone gets through, they find out that you’re just a big sappy baby. A big sappy baby who prefers to be the little spoon.

Hunter: What’s the expression? Fool me once, shame on me. Fool me twice... fiddle-dee-dee.

Crosshair: Fool me once, and I’ll be fooled for a day. Teach me how to fool people, and I’ll be fooled for the rest of my life.

Wrecker: Fool me once, fool me twice, fool me chicken soup with rice.

Tech: I do believe that’s the expression.

Surely I'm not the only sick of seeing hyper fem fics for characters from twd or tlou.. Readers always described as wearing something pink or lacy. I go by they/she but I dress quite masculine/androgynous. The other thing is that readers always like 5'2.. I'm 5'7.

This is no hate to the authors or people who actually dress/look like this it's just disappointing that I can't find anything that actually feels like a reader insert for me.

EDIT 2: it's been 3 minutes since I first posted this but I'm just stupid and forgot things. The other fandom I tagged is rdr2. Haha and one more thing, reader is always depicted as bubbly and giggly.. I laugh like a seal being strangled and my humor is dry asf.

EDIT 3: Hopefully my last edit, the other thing I don't relate too is boob size. It's always "readers perky breasts bounce as they do something or another". I'm a AA at best.. And if reader has a small chest they're always insecure which I get people are but I love my small boobs. Stops me getting attention from men, I like men too but ✨Women✨

Alright, I have a weird request. So one time when I was younger, my dad tried to wake me up for school my grabbing my shoulder and shaking it. Unfortunately, he grabbed my boob instead. We were both traumatized. I was thinking about it today and laughing and started thinking about how that sounds like something the batchers would do, and how would they react. Especially if you weren’t in a relationship with them already. (I promise my dad isn’t a creep by the way, I think it traumatized him more than me.)

The Bad Batch x Fem!Reader HC's - This Is Awkward...

Warning: Accidental boob-grab?

Summary: You slept in, and the batcher wants to wake you up, accidentally grabbing for your boob instead of your shoulder.

Pre Relationship.

Hunter

The very first moment, you both freeze. You look up at Hunter, and he looks down into your face, his hand still where it actually has no business.

"Looking for something?", you ask dryly.

"Uhm", he utters, letting go of your boob hastily.

He clears his throat before he says, "You slept in again, time to get up"

He's leaving the room faster than ever before. Hunter might have thought about touching you there, but certainly not like this.

Echo

It's a little different with him. He wanted to softly poke at your shoulder with his scomp link, like he always does when you sleep in. But this time he accidentally pokes your boob.

"Ouch! What the hell, Echo?"

"Oh maker! I'm so sorry, I was aiming for your shoulder", he stammers, his cheeks and ears turning red.

"You missed", you snarl.

"I'm very sorry!", he blurts out and hurries out of the room.

It'll take a while for him to look you in the eyes again, and he won't be the one waking you up in the mornings anymore.

Wrecker

He's frozen, staring at you out of big eyes. His huge hand is still on your boob. You stare right back at Wrecker, suddenly very much awake.

Wrecker says a little shaky, "Uh, you slept in. Hunter asked me to wake you"

"Would you please let go of my boob?", you ask him dryly.

He does let go hastily and chuckles nervously, "Oh yeah, sorry, didn't mean to do that, really! I was aiming for your shoulder, it was hard to figure out through the blanket"

He keeps stammering apologies and explanations, walking backwards out of your room.

Tech

He's plenty confused. Instead of letting go, he feels your boob, testing.

"That's odd. That's not what your shoulder should feel like, it's too soft"

"You don't say", you grumble, blinking at him, turning a bit.

You can see in Tech's face, it's the moment he realizes he's not grabbing your shoulder.

"Oh", he utters, slowly letting go "Well, you are awake, that was the goal"

Tech clears his throat, fixes his goggles with a shove of his finger.

"Hunter want's to see you at the Marauder, ASAP", he says, walking out of your room, strangely stiffly, with red neck and ears.

Crosshair

As you turn around, and he grabs you, you both freeze for a short moment. He blinks and so do you. You are even more confused as Crosshair grabs the other boob too. You stare at him.

"What the-"

"Both still there", he says, letting go, "Good for you. By the way, Hunter asked for you, you need to get up"

He turns around and leaves you puzzled.

"What the hell just happened?"
