I Put A Spell On You - A New Mutants Fanfiction

I Put a Spell on You - A New Mutants fanfiction

A/N: Hey guys! Here’s an extract from the IllyanaxRoberto story I promised a while back! It’s about the school’s Halloween Ball, and Roberto being kind of confused about his and Illyana’s relationship status. If you’re interested, the link to the whole story will be at the end of the post.

Roberto reached the door leading down to the club room on autopilot. He only pulled out of his thoughts when it came time to walk down the stairs. The club room was ajar, and he heard laughing from inside. When he walked in, he found Illyana seating behind the computer, as usual, working on editing their movie. Sam, Dani, and Rahne were seating around one of their tiny sets, talking. They were almost done shooting their short film, but the last few sets needed to be finished before they could continue.

"Hey, where were you?" Rahne asked as Roberto walked into the room and closed the door behind him.

"Finishing my lunch," he said with a frown as if there could be another answer.

Illyana stretched her arms and stood up, picking up her bag.

"Take over, I have to go to class."

She walked past him and gave him a look. That look. It was like an intense kiss in the rain. It hurt Roberto's heart so much, but in a good, lightening sort of way. Every time it made him want to pull her back to him and kiss her fiercely. Every time she was already gone before he could snap out her spell. Roberto swallowed thickly and went to sit by the computer. He was still holding the tickets in his hand. He went through his bag, looking for his wallet, to store the tickets safely away.

"What's that?" Rahne asked because nothing ever evaded her.

"Nothing," Roberto replied quickly.

Sam and Dani looked his way, and Sam said:

"Tickets for the ball?"

"Well, yeah, you have to have a ticket to get in, don't you?"

"Yeah, but two tickets..." Sam trailed off.

There was a moment of silence and Roberto tried to focus on his work, hoping the others would let it go. Dani didn't.

"Are you gonna ask Illyana to go to the dance with you?"

"Why? Are you gonna make fun of me?"

"No, I just think it's romantic."

I hope Beatrice is the one who goes into the other world to rescue Ava in season 3, it would make a nice reference to/inversion of The Divine Comedy in which Dante followed his Beatrice into the afterlife.

The Hundred Steps of Hell - a foxxay fanfiction

A/N: Hey guys! Here’s an extract from my new foxxay one-shot, the story of Cordelia making her way down to hell to get Misty out, but with a catch. Link to the full story will be at the end if you’re interested.

“I was wondering when you would come to me again. She's been waiting for you.”

Cordelia tried to ignore the pang of guilt in her chest. She stepped forward, facing Papa Legba without fear.

“You know why I'm here then?”

“Of course. You want the Swamp Witch.”

Cordelia nodded.

“Name your price.”

Papa Legba chuckled lowly.

“Why do you want her so bad? I've seen you, trying to get her back for years. Why is she so special to you?”

“It's my fault she's been trapped down there,” Cordelia admitted in a wavering voice. “I have to fix this.”

Papa Legba stood up from his chair, straightening to his full, imposing height.

“I have been thinking about this exchange for a long time,” he said with a smile. “Pondering over what price to pay. I thought about asking for something of yours. Your eyes, maybe, or another sense. Maybe one of your girls. A life for a life.”

Cordelia braced herself, waiting for Papa to finish his explanation.

“Then, finally, I had the perfect idea.”

His cane hit the ground loudly, and a single wooden door groaned open beside him. Cordelia felt every nerve in her body fire up nervously as the door slowly swung open. She waited for something to come out of the door, some sort of strange, demonic creature. When nothing happened, she frowned.

“I will let you walk down to Hell, and get her for yourself.”

“What? Just like that?”

“Just like that. But there is a catch.”

She sighed. She should have known there would be a catch.

"There are many stairways leading to Hell like there are many stairways leading everywhere. This one is special. This one has not been used for many many years. This is the catch. There are a hundred steps separating you and your Misty. For each step you'll take, you will have to relinquish a memory of her you possess."

Cordelia's mouth hung slightly open as she pondered the dilemma she was presented with.

“I'm not even sure I have a hundred memories of Misty.”

She'd barely known her for a few months, how could she have so many memories of the blonde? As she thought about it, there was only one memory she could remember, that of Misty, unconscious on the carpet in the living room, of feeling the woman's body crumbling to dust, of being unable to wake her up and hear her voice again.

“Won't I forget her completely?”

"If you can make it to the bottom, you will. But then I will make sure you don't forget to leave with her. After all, a deal is a deal."

I Can Wait For You at the Bottom - a Wolfwren fanfiction

A/N: Hello everyone! I just started postin a new multi-chapter fic which is a rival kingdoms AU but most importantly, a childhood friends to enemies to lovers. Here is the beginning and if you want to read the whole chapter, the link will be at the end!

Echo Base was buzzing with an energy that Sabine couldn’t understand. She didn’t feel excited or anxious. She felt dreadful. Her stomach had become the epicenter of her body. It was the pit of darkness that invaded her chest with every news from the frontline, the source of the shaking in her limbs whenever she walked the dark corridors of the base. She felt like puking every other minute. For the first time in her life, she wanted nothing but to stay in bed and perish. But she had a duty to accomplish, and she wouldn’t be able to see her bed again until victory had been secured.

The enemy had a strong resistance. But the Ravine would fall, and once they had lost this strategic position, Clan Wren’s advance would be unstoppable. Sabine wasn’t sure whether she wanted them to win anymore. Legs trembling with every step, she entered the command center, where her subordinates were looking over a map of the region. The Ravine cut a stark line in the middle of the hologram. It was very deep to be sure, but only fifteen feet across. They would hang temporary bridges to get their people across, or at least that was their plan.

When Sabine stepped into the room, the subordinates all stood to attention. Sabine set her helmet in the corner of the table. She had worn her armor so often recently, it felt like a second skin, but today it felt colder than usual. She surveyed the map. Each little gold dot on their side was a brigade of twelve warriors. She couldn’t count all the dots. On the other side, the black dots were advancing back toward the ravine.

“Everyone is in position for the final push, your Highness,” one of her subordinates said.

She could see it plainly. The crawlers were driving forward, advancing with their troops. On the other side, the black dots had brought their own tanks, slower but plated. They formed a line that her Mandalorians would have to pass through.

“I was just on the phone with the Queen,” Sabine said, her eyes scanning the holographic map still, as if she would find something she had missed. “She is expecting results. If this battle doesn’t turn the tide, then we are all fighting for nothing.”

“Wren, Wren,” the subordinate began to chant, and Sabine had to hide a grimace. She could really do without the blind devotion right now.

She picked up her helmet and put it on, as much to ready herself for a fight as to hide her face.

“Have you confirmed the intel we received. Is it true?”

“Yes, your Highness. Lady Hati was spotted on the other side of the Ravine.”

Sabine bit her lower lip. Fuck her luck.

“She will be leading her people. I ought to lead mine.”

She glanced one last time at the map, wondering where the blonde would be. First in line, probably. She was insane enough to run straight into the enemy line without armor, she knew.

“Ring the bell. We’re moving out.”

The Road Less Traveled - a Wolfwren fanfiction

A/N: Hello everyone! I'm back with another story from "The Life of the Wolf, the Wren, and their Cub." This one is about Uschi getting her own lightsaber. Here is the beginning and if you'd like to read more the link for the rest of the story will be at the end!

Sabine checked once more that Uschi’s jacket was zipped to the top and her scarf covered the skin of her neck left unprotected by the thick, fur-lined coat. Uschi tried to push her hand away, to no avail.

“I’ll be fine,” the girl assured.

Still, Sabine continued to fret over her. She picked up a woolen hat and forced it onto Uschi’s head, despite her protest.

“You have you comlink?”

“Yes.”

“And your emergency grappling line?”

“You know Ahsoka said it’s cheating.”

“Yeah, well, Ahsoka was raised by a religious cult who thought it was normal to send children alone on an ice-covered planet to gather a little crystal.”

“We didn’t go alone,” Ahsoka chimed in from the doorway to the T-6’s cockpit. “But unfortunately, Uschi doesn’t have any clan members to go with her.”

Sabine placed a hand on her daughter’s shoulder.

“Be careful. And do not hesitate to call.”

Uschi nodded. She walked past Shin, who gave her an encouraging pad on the shoulder, then Huyang who was waiting for her by the door.

“Remember, young Uschi. You must trust your instinct. One crystal within the cave is awaiting you. Your task is only to retrieve it.”

Uschi gave him a serious nod, then stepped out of the ship, and into Ilum’s blizzard. Sabine watched her go with a sigh.

“She will be fine,” Ahsoka assured her. “You’ve prepared her well.”

“I’m allowed to worry, I’m the one who grew up on an ice planet.”

She sat down on the couch in the middle of the ship, and Shin went to sit beside her, wrapping one arm around her.

“You’re cute when you worry.”

“Don’t act like you aren’t worried too.”

Shin shrugged.

“I had to get my crystal in a sleeping volcano. I’d rather see her wondering about an ice cavern than a lava field.”

Sabine placed the comlink on the table in front of her, and leaned into Shin’s embrace. They had been training Uschi on Krownest for the past few weeks, specifically to make this journey to Ilum easier. They had done all they could. Now it was up to her.

A Room Isn't Enough - A Wolfwren fanfiction

A/N: Hello everyone! I posted a new Wolfwren one-shot, and this one is my first 5+1: five times Shin and Sabine's makeout sessions was interrupted and the one time it wasn't. Here is the beginning, and if you want to read the whole story, the link will be at the end!

Shin joining their ship had been quite productive for Sabine’s training, or so Ahsoka thought. Huyang was of the other mind. Shin was a distraction for Sabine. But Ahsoka thought the blonde was a great help. She provided another sparring partner for Sabine and pushed her to improve faster. Sabine was too competitive not to rise to Shin’s challenge. They pushed each other to be better, which Ahsoka approved.

Shin disarmed Sabine again, her training sword flying against the wall of the T-6. Ahsoka had been watching from the sideline. When Sabine tried summoning the sword back to her with the Force, Ahsoka shook her head.

“She barely had to use any force to disarm you.”

“Maybe I’m tired…” Sabine panted out.

Both of the fighters were breathing hard and sweating, though Shin was less open to showing her exhaustion, standing tall still. Ahsoka picked up Sabine’s discarded sword and handed it back to her.

“You both are. What I wanted you to see is that Shin used your attack against you and leveraged it to disarm you.”

“Good for her.”

Ahsoka gave her that look that meant she wasn’t taking Sabine’s attitude. Still, she could concede that they had been training for some time now.

“I’ll grab you some water. We can go again after.”

She left the two women in the central room and headed into the kitchen. There, Huyang was conducting an inventory check, so they could replenish their supplies at Home One – and they had used a lot of supplies on Peridea.

“Any water left?”

Huyang motioned for a corner of the room where a handful of glass bottles had been tugged. Ahsoka picked up one and rummaged for glasses through the cupboard.

“Are you sure you should leave these two unsupervised?” Huyang asked.

Ahsoka shook her head.

“They’re not children. It has been some time since they’ve been at each other’s throat.”

“That is not where my concern lies.”

Casual - a Wolfwren fanfiction

A/N: Hello everyone! My new E-rated one-shot in which Sabine flies private jets and Shin is her client/boss is out! Here is an extract and if you want to read the whole story the link will be at the end!

Sabine primed the plane for their descent then turned on the seatbelt sign and turned on her mike.

“This is your captain speaking. Due to tornado sightings ahead, we will be taking next chance we get to wait out the storm. We’re sorry for the inconvenience this detour will cause.”

It was never enough for those rich business people she carried, but Sabine had been taught right, and she would be damned if she caved to money when safety was concerned. The plane dipped toward the dark gray clouds below. The sun would be setting soon too. It would have been a nightmare to navigate a tornado corridor at nighttime.

Sabine was pulled out of her focus by commotion coming from outside. She heard the flight attendant arguing with another woman, their client. Sabine pushed one earphone off her ear so she could hear them arguing more clearly.

“Why is the door locked?” the client asked.

“Security measures, ma’am. Now, if you’d follow the captain’s orders-”

Sabine sighed. She’d thought at least the client would wait until they had landed to throw a tantrum, but apparently not.

“I need to speak with the captain.”

“You can’t-”

“I owe this plane, don’t tell me what I can or can’t do.”

Sabine rolled her eyes and took off her headphones. She better intervene before the situation escalated.

“Keep her steady,” she instructed Ezra.

Her co-pilot acknowledged the order with a nod. Sabine unbuckled her seatbelt and stood up. The cockpit was small, and in two steps she had reached the door. She unlocked it. Both the attendant and the client turned to her.

“Captain, she-” the attendant began.

Sabine shook her head.

“It’s alright. Go take your seat, I’ll handle it.”

The flight attendant slid away from between them, leaving Sabine to face the client. The woman had jaw-length blond hair and was wearing a gray suit, the jacket discarded on her seat and the sleeves of the shirt rolled up. Her green-blue eyes were hard with a furious glare.
