their canon relationship is wildly amusing to me
I recognize that canon has made a decision, but given that it’s a stupid-ass decision, I’ve elected to ignore it and indulge myself in fanfic
It is DONE. I am SAD but fulfilled. If this doesn’t make anyone but me cry I’m going to yeet myself into the void.
TMA has kept me company through the entirety of lockdown and I couldn’t be more thankful for it. Please enjoy my collection of sad faces as a tribute to episode 200. :’^)

This is totally random, but I know exactly what Law and Luffy's kid's story would be like. Her name would be Cora, (after Corazon of course), and she would have Law's black hair and golden/green eyes and dark skin, but she would have Luffy's smile and casual disregard for the laws of reality. She would be best friend's with Ace and Marco's kid, and she would be the co-captain of the Dragon Pirates. She would have no fear of injury or death, but would dissolve into a panicked wreck anytime her makama gets so much as a paper cut. Law would try to teach her how to be a doctor, but she'd go green at the sight of organs and he would instead teach her swordplay and anatomy, because she's fascinated with bones. If he had been there, Luffy would have taught her how to play, and how to be selfish and kind at the same time, and Law would show her how not to drown in your own darkness. She would set out at 17, and fight her adopted brother, for the title of Pirate King. In the end, she's either the Pirate King, and he's the Pirate Queen, or they do a timeshare, or she beats him up until he agrees to let her have it. She has a long complicated relationship with Robin's daughter, before she finally marries her in front of the World Government. They're outraged of course, except for Sengoku, who blinks back tears as he thinks of how happy Rocinante would have been. She would have grown up on stories about her extended, not quite related family, and learned how to love with all that she is, but only those she deems worthy. Don't use this without permission.
My (late) contribution for Make A Terrible Comic Day! I've been going to the library more often lately so this has been coming up a lot, cause I want something to read but have had trouble finding anything that I'm comfortable with.
If anyone has recommendations please please let me know because I am struggling.
people on here give yoda a lot of shit and say that he was a bad mentor but i’d like to contest that Yoda is and has always been cool as hell and the real problem was that in the days of the Republic he was forced into a shitty managerial position, where he had to worry about paperwork and massive unauthorized clone orders and vetting chosen ones and shit like that when really all he wanted all along was to be a delightfully shitty impish little grandpa living in a hut giving cryptic advice to teenagers
Like remember that episode of the Clone Wars where the jedi council finally tries to put yoda in a retirement home because he starts talking to Qui Gon’s ghost and yoda calls anakin over like “hmmm…. friends, we are, young skywalker. help me escape this silly place, you must. in it for you, a handful of Werther’s Originals is” like that’s who Yoda is, at his core, and the stifling weight of Force monk bureaucracy took that away from him
Including Dragonwatch, that is. People are still looking for the next Harry Potter. Fablehaven has the potential. It still deals with magic and mythical creatures and, not to mention, family friendly (for the most part). The characters are interesting, relatable, and definitely not 2D. The books teach lessons while still having plenty of jokes to entertain. Of course, having the movie series turn out to be like The Percy Jackson series would just be insulting. This series deserves a chance.
so !!! this is kind of a tribute to law and to a lesser extent corazon :0
tbh it was kind of a spur of the moment thing i have no idea how i drew 30+ panels in a week,,also its 4am and im very tired
