Obianidala Winter Soldier AU: After being forced to kill Anakin on Mustafar, Obi-Wan returns with Padmé to the core to restore order to the Republic. Things are just starting to settle when whispers pick up of a supersoldier operating in the shadows. Padmé writes off the near mythical tales until she’s attacked. 

She knows him. It only gets worse when Obi-Wan confirms that the whispers are their Anakin, memoryless and on a path of destruction.

So I had a little think about this scene. And how Obi-Wan seems to always return people’s lightsaber to them however he loses his own often and it hit me…

Obi-Wan Kenobi doesn’t care about his own life, he genuinly doesn’t care and therefor losing his own weapon doesn’t matter if its just him alone against something. It only matters as long as he can protect someone else but the weapon that is his life?

It doesn’t matter. Obi-Wan doesn’t think his own life matters.

But to Cody, that life matters. So he always returns it to Obi-Wan.

So turns out…..you guys are not gonna believe this…….but it turns out. Reading real books. Is good for you actually.

I don't think fic writers know how much they matter

Do you know how many times you distracted me when I was hurt or lonely? Do you know how many times a line or a scene from fanfic marked me so much that I remembered years later, even though I can’t recall my own phone number? 

Even if the fic isn’t perfect or popular or multi-chaptered… Sometimes there’s just one sentence that changed me.
