infamous @infamous-if (as we all know) because amy is such a wonderful writer, she makes me FEEL feel (yes, i shed tears reading chapter two). the characters feel so real. always a pleasure to make edits for this if! also looking forward to @bodydoublegame.

anything mila writes, truly. i always have a hard time picking an ro because they all are amazing in their own way. also not a big sports fan but i love her stories so much i'm actually super excited for her latest if @beyondthegame. check out my fave: golden!! @milaswriting, and don't forget before dusk sets in @celestialdusks.

the exile @exilethegame i'm obsessed, i've read this one so many times!!!!! the plot is so so so good, you just have to see for yourself. the relationships between the characters (the family dynamics most of all???)

apartment 502 has to be my most anticipated if (@apt502-if) i saw new girl, i clicked so fast! and you should too if you haven't already <3 the demo is not out and i already have 3 mcs, that's how excited i am!!!

book two of the golden rose @anathemafiction i know i don't talk about it enough (or at all) on here but check out the first book, i can't recommend it enough!!

@disenchantedif can't wait to read from the beginning with the next update, i feel like it has the potential to become another favorite of mine + i've heard so many good things about it from a couple people with great taste!

you don't really remember anything at all, but this much you know: you are a fallen guardian angel, and you need to find who you were meant to protect.

a few problems: you can't recall who you were protecting, and how you failed them. and, of course, you're trapped in a strange isolated town that worships a goddess you don't recognize.

don't fret now, you'll be fine. may you recover your memory, guardian, and untangle the web of secrets you find yourself in.

full character customization: build your appearance, your personality, your divine powers, and choose whether to subscribe to human concepts of gender and sexuality or not.

befriend, antagonize, or romance four main characters: the sacrificial lamb, the weak dog, the bloody devotee, or the fool.

investigate the town you can't seem to leave, and the goddess that hangs over it.

try to recover your memories and make sense of them after that.

take care of some cute sheep.

the sacrificial lamb - the eldest daughter of the town's ruling family. always calm and calculated, upholding order at all costs.

the weak dog - the youngest son of the town's ruling family, not that he would ever associate himself with them. full of charm and wit, he follows his heart and does what he thinks is right.

the bloody devotee - the high priestess to the goddess. confident, cold, and powerful. she doesn't hesitate to go for what she wants, even if she has to step on backs to get there.

the fool - the spoiled heir to most of the farms in town. he's childish and carefree, spending most of his days in the town square singing.

prominent themes of violence, animal death, substance use, abuse, manipulation, and suicide.

a character struggles with self-harm and disordered eating.

mild suggestive content.

non-graphic depiction of sexual assault.

this is overall a dark game, and I would not recommend it to those who are easily disturbed.

🧡 Keoanai Hakana

   Personality - An agent of Den Zarel and MC’s oldest friend. Capable, strong, and stoic, with a tendency to get lost in thought. Protective of the MC. The child of a human-Fey union, Keo has seen a great deal of both Fey and human society, and struggles to find the point of balance between them.

   Physical Appearance - Warm brown eyes flecked with gold, tan skin, dark hair usually pulled back in a messy bun, muscled.

🧡 Rin (last name unknown)

   Personality - Snarky, clever, and sarcastic to a fault, but fiercely loyal. Not much is known about Rin’s background - and Rin, meanwhile, seems reluctant to share much. Comes from Den Luana of Leas’ sister-city, Dalusin.

   Physical Appearance - Striking silver eyes, pale skin, black hair, intentionally nondescript clothing, aside from some silver rings and a small cloth tied around the neck.

🧡 Wren Iolenas

   Personality - Wren is witty, charismatic, and wildly intelligent. A traveling archivist of great renown, new to the city of Leas yet already surprisingly well-connected. Silver tongued when dealing with the nobility and always ready with a smile when MC wants to talk.

   Physical Appearance - Sharp brown eyes, deep brown skin, dark hair, shimmering gold tattoos along their hands and forearms, small scars on their fingers.

Highlights

Choose your gender (including nonbinary) and sexuality

Three romanceable love interests (LI genders determined based on player sexuality, all routes available to all players), and a no-romance route

Choose your specialty within your Den. Play as a prodigy, conjurer, diplomat, or focus on a bit of everything as a jack-of-all-trades, or specialize in nothing at all

Train skills and set your personality through choices

No wrong choices: skill checks can be failed, and the content and flavor of the story changed, but ultimately there is no “game over” screen, just different endgame outcomes.
