I truly do admire Brad Dourif’s ability to inhabit complex and often eccentric characters is unparalleled. Whether he's playing a mentally disturbed patient, a charismatic villain, or a sympathetic outcast, Brad Dourif brings an authenticity to his roles that captivates audiences. His dedication to his craft is evident in every performance, making him a celebrated figure in the world of film and a true inspiration to aspiring actors. Brad Dourif's talent is a gift to cinema, and his work continues to be a source of admiration and appreciation for fans and fellow actors alike.
So that’s why I am Voice Claiming him as Amaro. He’s perfect to listen to when writing his character and it’s really fun.
I know it’s silly, but I also wanted to make clear that, yes, This Blog is mainly Beetlejuice heavy, inspiration for my story and with the characters but I really want to capture the essence of Brad Dourif’s Chucky in Child’s Play, more than I wanted to with Michael Keaton’s Beetlejuice when writing my Creepy Character Amaro. Childs Play was my number one most feared movie growing up and I mean I was really petrified of everything that seemed even slightly scary and with my Father being a major horror fan, everyday seemed like a waking nightmare Lolz. So it only makes sense that I would want Chucky to be one of my main inspirations for Amaro. Not a huge deal but still.
I gotta admit something.
I never liked how the second movie gave Beetlejuice the title of “Demon”, it just didn’t feel right with me and I just knew that right then Lydia said it in the trailer, the rest of the internet will follow suit. Unless they’re referring to him being a little shit but I know that’s not the case.
Stacy Wayne
Stacy Jo Wayne is a 18-year-old girl and would describe herself as a Yami Kawaii girl. Unfortunately, she’s also a high school dropout and is currently in between jobs. Stacy is the exact opposite of her Boyfriend Scotty. Stacy fails in sports, dancing, acting, singing, and in about almost everything else. But despite that, everyone seems to enjoy her company, well almost everyone.
Some people will call her annoying or childish at times when needed to be taken seriously. She likes to try to stay in a positive mindset and will do anything to make someone smile.
Most people will like to say that She and Beatrice actually looking alike, despite not being related at all. Neither of the girls see that themselves.
This is adorable
So, there was Toons on tap session in 2013 with invited animator who work(ed) at Nelvana (Charlie Bonifacio)
This is a drawing made by the animator on facebook
I know I don’t say it enough but I totally should…
You guys make this fandom worth all the chaos.
Thank you for keeping it running with all your love and devotion to the spooky duo.
Honestly, without your creations there wouldn’t be so much to reblog. The community built here has been the most genuine and kind… and surprisingly stable during these last few years.
We have had our ups and downs. New friendships built while some have faded but we managed to keep the enjoyment of our geeky creepy fandom.
I hope that with every new addition to the fandom that the love for this stupid pair keeps us inspired. I look forward to the art, fics and crafts to come.
Thank you for being awesome.
I despise the infantilization of Beetlejuice’s character.
Like, no, he’s not a little baby or an innocent boi. He’s a gross predatory pervert who, in all versions of Beetlejuice, tries to marry a minor. And I love him like that.
Stop butchering characters personalities in order to feel okay about liking them. It’s alright to like a character who’s a bad person, and it doesn’t make you a bad person yourself. I promise.
😭
Most likely will anyway.
Why couldn’t they have kissed 😔
Just a night thought of why do we love them so much - simply -
Honestly, all good goth girls need a devilish man, who would solve their problems once and forever with a smile on his face and with a snap 🫰
In Reality: a smart, kind, beautiful and serious woman with millions of problems is looking for a talented showman (appearance is not very important, the main thing is to have a heart) for mutual love and sympathy to the grave and beyond.
I can talk about them for hours, but I’ll just stop right here and watch the film again, thank you.
Just another artist who’s trying to get her art out there. Mainly Oc stuff but If you'd like to get to know me just hit me up in the DMs. BeetleBabes (That’s me))and NonBeetleBabes are always welcomed!
