I wanted to start trying to be able to do more realistic art, so I pulled some guidelines from this photo and used them to practice coloring and figuring out how to sort of do hair?

*vomits old doodles all over you*

I'm back

did it have to sound like upward movement like did we have to bring in the motif of marching upwards to an insurmountable challenge with bravado that's going to get thrown back in your face. Like this is the haunting version of that, like you're recalling your brave venture forth with bitter hindsight, like you walked up the last set of stairs to find yourself on a barren rooftop, and you turn around and the stairs are gone, you didnt actually get anywhere worth going and you cant go back. sort of like you're in an empty penthouse but every floor below is gone-- (I am dragged back into my enclosure)

They should've made Lil Hal a theme in the Homestuck Soundtrack.

Eight by fourteen inches equals roughly 22,000 individual stitches and just as many reasons to regret my poor life choices, but it’s DONE! I don’t want to think about how many hours of work went into this, but I’m so pleased with how it came out. I’ve had this in the works for about a year now, working on it here and there, but the last few weeks I’ve really pushed to finish it up, and I’m super happy with how this came out.
