The warmth of colors
Since B-127 was online there ware always a color that seems to follow him during his life.
When B-127 was a little sparkling, he shared a "room" with others sparklings, it was a simple room for them to study (and study only) nothing really stand's out in there. But B-127 notices this irregular little red light on the ceiling, it was different ,it shouldn't be there for sure.
It is really distracting.
And B-127 couldn't help himself but getting distracted by the red light.
(B-127 didn't know yet but he likes red, red was the first thing he ever seen when he got online and being able to see one more time means that the yellow sparkling was strong enough (not like the others sparklings).
Then when he started work for Sentinel Prime, he almost didn't notice at first but there was a persistent red spot following the Prime, everywhere to be exactly, it wasn't strange for Sentinel to have followers, that's why he's here (and other things too). But it's really odd, everytime the Prime is in public there was him. Looking at Sentinel ,that was a stranger behavior for a race bot, should he report this to Arachnid?
Well... the red bot didn't do anything other than following the Prime so the Guard let it aside (for now).
That was until he was walking alone on the racing stadium, the same red bot was there talking to others bots ,smiling and laughing with them, something inside him felt warm. The Guard don't know for how long he have steering at the bot, but the next thing he knows is that the red bot see him.
They made eyes contact...
Then...
A spark...
What was that?
What is this?
His body is shaking, although is not fear that his feeling, no it's not that... what was the word again?
No, nononono he have a job to do here and is better being done so he can go back to Sentinel, shaking his helmet the Guard give a last look at the red bot before walking out.
"Hey, wait!"
He stop.
Look to the other side of the hallway and there was the red bot.
"We need to talk... Please"
CliffJumper.
That was his... Spark brother's name.
What does that mean... Bee don't know.
But it's warm and Bee likes red.
Red now is a constant in his life and he was... Happy as his brother says, Bee still doesn't understand what it means.
But it's okay, he was... Okay.
Until other color invaded his life.
Sentinel had send him to supervise a mine area, it seems that this place was having some... problems, this was a simple quest for Bee of course.
Bee was on top of a platform when something got his attention, going up and down a shining blue and red stood out from the crowd of bots, that miner is really... Something.
Always with a gray bot on his side, talking ,smiling ,helping others. That bot remember him of his brother.
Bee was "distracted" with the report, when he saw it out of the corner of his eye something coming fast in his direction ,with a quick movement Bee activates just one knife hand and cuts a jetpack without having to move much.
And then he was on the ground.
"Wow, that was awesome bossbot!"
The same blue and red miner was top of him for some reason, Bee take a good look at him. What was his doing? Was he going to kill Bee? Should Bee kill him first?
The mine was silent.
He stayed silent, ready to pull off the helmet of the blue bot with his barehand.
"Sorry about him boss, are you alright?"
The grey miner pull the bigger miner off of him, hitting him on the helmet after.
Bee quietly got up.
"Ah! Yes! Sorry about that, i saw the jetpack going to you direction and I just acted out of impulse to protect you-"
Protect?
Him?
Why?
Because his the superior in this area? That left a bad taste in his mouth for some reason.
"... Back to work... All of you"
He was shaking for the third time in his life.
Bee did tell about what happened to his brother after finished the job, Cliff gave him a smile and said it was normal to help people in need or in danger ,like he do when someone gets hurt when they are racing, still don't make sense to Bee. But if his brother is telling him it's a good thing to do, he will do!
Blue is... a good color.
Although he prefers red.

He have a new mission.
Someone is getting into the Archives and nether Sentinel or Arachnid are happy about it. The Archives were supposedly highly protected, so how in Cybertron is someone getting into the place and is still alive, Bee doesn't care he got a job to do and that's what he's going to do.
Take out the trash.
Bee could've go alone, but for some reason Sentinel himself wanted to be there too and who is he to contrary his Prime wishes.
Creak.
"... I hear a sound" both his audials rise.
"Oh, it's probably just a little botuse (mouse)" Sentinel had a grin on his face.
"I see something in the dark" Bee active one knife, looking around.
"I only see files" the grin increase, as he expects to see a show.
"I know there's someone there, my Prime" his sensors on high alert.
"Not as far as I'm aware" Sentinel fakely dismiss his words.
Bee gave a small nod and deactivated his knife hand, going back to his formal posture.
"It was a long night for the both of us" Sentinel go back the table and pick up a tablet.
"... But I heard a creak" one of his audials raise again hearing the same sound.
"Just relax"
Bee goes as quickly and quiet as he ever knows to where he heard the sound, Sentinel was almost jumping from where he was sitting with excitement. Ready to kill who ever was there, the yellow guard didn't expect to freeze in place when when he saw a familiar shade of blue and red. Those aren't the two miners on level ten? They looked at him in pure fear, they shouldn't be here, what are they doing here?
Where they the ones who he was supposed to exterminate?
Some tiks passed.
"Well?"
The Blue bot shok his helmet slowly, pleading with his eyes.
They're helpless... Bee is going to do what he was here for. He was going to kill help them.
Oh, Primus in the All Spark.
As if fate decided to help them this day, a real botuse (mouse) ran to his legs. Bee acts fast and crushes the little creature, returning to his neutral self.
"... You're right my Prime, it was indeed a little botuse"
Bee goes to the Prime side, like nothing had happened. The lider was disappointed, looking at the poor crushed botuse.
"It's getting late and it seems that our little problem will not show up tonight... What a waste of my time" he goes to the exit. "Ah! You're in charge now, but you already know that right"
Bee nod's.
"Perfect! Good night"
When Bee thinks it's safe, he call the two bots. The gray one start apologize for himself and the other bot, who is complaining of pain while holding his helmet.
Bee feels strange.
This is going to be a long night for sure.
How come sentinel didn't take Cliffjumper as a bodyguard?
Did Sentinel ever cared for Bee, or he just sees him as tool and nothing more?

Cliffjumper is an independent bot who has built a career as a racer, he has his own opinions and positions, different from B's beliefs. He himself was created as a racing bot (and there are a lot of them) so Sentinel does not see any value in him, since Cliff is literally not the kind of Bot you want to order to kill a couple of rats :D
Sentinel may see him as something other than a weapon, but he doesn't dwell on that thought
Since Bee is a war frame, are there certain codes in his system that normal bots don’t have? I mean obviously but, I mean things outside of having weapons protocol or smth like that.
Also in addition, has Sentinal ever added to Bee’s coding that has a connection to protecting the Primes? And because of that coding Bee felt obligated to still try and help Sentinal and become OP’s bodyguard.
And if that is true, does it hurt Bee to not follow his protocol’s? :(

I actually have no idea what protocols they might have, so feel free to suggest your own if you like!
Interfering with coding from the outside is very dangerous, since the slightest mistake can literally cause the bot to lose its identity, so Sentinel was not particularly interested in this. The only thing he ordered was to add the "Silence" protocol to B, which obliges him to keep state secrets a secret. (including the secrets of the Prime and his close associates)
If B tries to tell any of this, his vocaderu will get electrocuted, causing severe pain
hey so about your bumblebee au, what exactly does being a war frame entail exactly? Like is it just the weapons and the mask or is there something else that makes them special? Love your works btw :)
their main ability is self-healing.
In the sense that their systems are fully adapted to replace the original parts with others, in case they are injured or something else happens. They are set up so that if, for example, someone loses a servo, their systems will restore functionalityeven without a part of some body (until the part is replaced.)
secondly, their armor is much stronger than usual (obviously, haha) reinforced to protect against laser bullets and most types of weapons.
Thirdly, they are initially stress-resistant to certain things, and there are rumors that military mechs can afford up to 2 alternative modes, since their task is multifunctionality

I must ask! Has Bee ever had moments where he felt Sentinel was right there behind him and Cliff having to snap him out of it?
definitely! After Sentinel's death, he still feels like he's always there for him, no matter what he does. Bee may even hear his voice begging for protection from Megatron, but Cliff can only guess.
Over time, he will learn to ignore this fear and will be able to overcome it. However, it will take him a long time
Was B ever punished when he did something wrong??? How bad would it have been if he was?

About body guard bee, how does Megatron view Bee after the events of tf1? You mentioned how he originally reacted harshly to the fact Bee knew the truth and then later understood that Bee really didn't have a choice. And how do the decepticons view Bee?
Megatron clearly respects Bee, though he still feels anger over his "collaboration" with Sentinel. I'm pretty sure that when Bee and Elita tried to stop him from publicly executing Sentinel, Megatron offered to join him in building the future of Cybertron, which Bee wisely declined. Even despite this, after the events he still feels disappointed because of the loss and rejection
the Decepticons in turn would be very disappointed by the refusal, since they need such powerful bots as B, especially since he was created for war. (I like the idea that they were also worried that such a young Bot was forced to go through a series of traumatic events too early in order for him to even try to become normal for society)
Will you make Bee's attachment/trust chart? Like how much does Bee trust them, or likes being around them, or probably feels responsibility over them, or how much he despise them, or just dont care

Bee would have written himself attachment/trust chart on Cliff's advice, since after the events of TPF1 he has very mixed feelings about the whole situation
Cliff, out of curiosity, looked through this list when Bee was not there. The Sentinel always came first, but after meeting brother Bee, he wrote a question mark next to Prime. The list was not updated for some time and remained empty, since he was always using responsibilities, bodyguard was not up to dating, until after a while Cliff saw the names written illegibly at the bottom and with comments in parentheses
Orion Pax (can trust? To study, to observe)

after the events of TPF1 Cliffjumper will be surprised to find that the Sentinel has been completely crossed out, and he himself was at the top of the list, as well as new names added to the list

Sentinal's former right hand was jailed for her complicity and many of the things she did under his command. And to the surprise of most, she said nothing about B, didn't reveal his actions, but only wished him luck and advised him to visit her in prison, as her advice would still be useful to him. (and it was)
there was no one he truly hated or despised because he was always indifferent to the behavior of others. (he still thought he betrayed Sentinel, but he also understands that this bot didn't see him as anything more than a weapon)
How was B’s time in the military camp? Like did they instill not only loyalty but other things into B?
Speaking of- does B believe in unethical things that may have most certainly been taught to him? Like- little things such as “Engex is a waste of time” or “more then 3 energon cubes a cycle (day) is a no go (even if your hungry)” things like that yk?
Things that seem like a quirk of B’s only to be instilled training from the military camp. Things that Cliff doesn’t register as being instilled into him.

Since it was a relatively peaceful time on Cybertron, Bee was one of the few warframes ever created. He was sent to a military camp with a fairly strict regime, because it was believed that bots like him needed to be isolated and kept under control as much as possible.
I think Bee feels nothing but apathetic when he remembers the time he spent at the camp, because all he remembers is training, training, pain, hunger and loneliness.
Although, I think the Caretakers always had a weakness for him? He was the smallest Sparkling in existence, and was the perfect role model. So, Bee spent the first years of his life in fairly normal conditions (as far as possible), studied, trained.
Until he was transferred to another building
From the good, he is vaccinated with endurance, composure, observation with curiosity. For a military robot, Bee surprisingly knows a lot and likes to learn more things than he can hope to. For example, once he and Arachne had a discussion on the historical significance of the city of Iacon, and Sentinel was very surprised at the knowledge of his bodyguard. (This was the first and only time Bee had such a long dialogue)
Here is a small summary of the rules that were instilled in him:
It is forbidden to display any absolute emotion, whether it is pain, fear, or something else. Always wear combat masks and don't show your faces.
You're a robot made for war, there's no need to recharge. Spend your time studying useful sciences and hone your skills
The use of energon is allowed only if the level of energon is below the norm. You have to be resilient
It is forbidden to talk unless you are asked a direct question. Always speak only to the point, in other cases use gestures. (For example, tilt your head if you don't understand something, or shrug your shoulders when you have nothing to say)
You can leave the premises only with the permission of the Caretaker, if there was no order — stay in place
A stable place of residence is a luxury, you do not need to store jewelry, only basic necessities. The rest is a waste of time. Again, you are combat robots, you are always on the move
DO NOT DRINK ENGEX (Cliff was glad that his brother was so strict about drinking alcohol)
Always listen and follow the orders of your masters. Otherwise, disobedience is not allowed

hey i got a few questions about the bodyguard b-127 au
do you think B might have some trauma? Like since B-127 was raised to be a weapon, do you think that sentinel prime basically abused and manipulated B-127 in order to get that end goal?
And when Sentinel dies and B-127 assumes he’s now Optimus Prime’s bodyguard, do you think he’d be looking for similar treatment from Optimus Prime that he got from Sentinel Prime?
*sat on a yellow down jacket* I'm almost sure that's true. Bee has a fear of attachment, he expects every bot to use him, as Sentinel instilled in him that he was the only one who saw potential in Bee and took him in to truly unlock his value.
Sentinel will continue to convince the telechronist that he genuinely cares about his condition until this illusion is destroyed by Cliff
After revealing the lie and realizing that he is being manipulated, Bee will be left in limbo. Yes! He will expect the same attitude from Optimus!

The basics of gun safety are easy. Simple. Never look down the barrel, never point it at something you’re not planning on killing, keep your finger off the trigger until you’re ready to shoot.
Thus, it is reasonable to say that it’s a liability to have a loaded weapon with a hair-trigger. This is the argument Sentinel receives over and over whenever his bodyguard is mentioned.
(Though, to be fair, B was ‘the weapon’ or ‘the project’ for a long, long while. Airachnid was the one to suggest calling him a bodyguard— it’s softer than ‘weapon’, with the connotation of protection and defence rather than something meant for war.
It’s a good thing Sentinel is adept at lying, because B-127 is absolutely meant for war.)
He stands in his throne room, overlooking the city. It’s a quiet night, the sounds of flying muted through the thick glass.
He has a problem. A rather large one, at that. Someone has been getting into the Archives, bolder and bolder than before. Normally he’d leave it to his guards, but it kept happening. Incompetent morons. Even worse, they’d managed to breach the upper levels, meaning the highly classified information Airachnid had been so long suppressing was in danger of being leaked.
Despite how Sentinel’s more impulsive side languished in the boredom of Iacon now, he knew better than to go in guns blazing as a Prime. This is a delicate situation. It needs to be solved quietly, without a fuss.
In the dead of night, he whistles a short tune.
If Sentinel wasn’t listening, if he hadn’t trained the mech behind him up, he wouldn’t have been able to sense the additional presence in the room with him. He must have dropped from wherever he hid, Sentinel’s advanced scanners unable to ping him.
“Sir?”
He turns to address his mech. The moon glints off yellow armour, reflecting Sentinel’s face back at him from B’s visor. “I have a pest problem that needs eliminating,” he responds, smooth as ever.
B’s helm tilts. “Of course.”
“Someone’s been breaking into the Archives. I need you to find them and dispose of them, quietly.” Sentinel stresses the last part— sending the people into a panic wouldn’t do. B hasn’t messed that up since his early days of training, though he still emphasises it.
“Of course,” B says, looking past him and out the window, surely to where the looming shadow of the Archives lies. “Shall I begin now?”
“The sooner, the better. This will be no problem for you, I presume?”
“Of course. Newbuild’s play.” B gives him a sharp nod before lowering himself to the ground and jumping back up onto what he assumes to be a ceiling beam. No matter how many times Sentinel watched, he still catches himself in mild awe at how easily B can do that.
(No he hasn’t tried to, shut up.)
Sentinel lets out a pleased hum. One less thing to worry about, then. The job’s as good as done.

Confusion, fear, acceptance
Sentinel often threw tantrums, almost always referring to his act. Bee has no choice but to accept this fact and continue working, because Sentinel has inspired him that he is doing everything for the future of Cybertron

Or is Bee silent by choice because it's safer for him and/or because he thinks everyone (like Sentinel) would hate hearing him talk?
Not much!
Bee is silent by choice because he believes that talking is a waste of time. After the events of the film, Bee learns to chat more and share emotions through speech. :D
Sentinel doesn't mind at all if he talks (although this is only because he rarely says anything. And he only speaks to the point)

1] When he is on duty as a bodyguard. If you hug him and the Sentinel didn't say anything about it — he won't do anything either.
2] When he wants to touch someone himself, because, you know, he's hungry for touch, no one has ever hugged him. (Cliffjumper will be very happy)
Don't even try to kiss, Bee won't understand anything and will stand in a stupor for several Megacycle :D

what is this Au about?
This is a story where B127 - centric character. He was created as a dangerous warbot and was given to a Military Academy for bots like him. Afterward, Sentinel Prime decides to take the young bot into his subordinates and gives him the position of Bodyguard. Time is slowly running out on the events of the movie..
How did you come up with the idea?
To be honest, this AU was originally intended as a simple idea that I would just draw for fun and not develop it further. But to my surprise, people loved it!
