Williams Racing prematurely promoted Logan Sargeant to Formula 1 because they wanted Nicholas Latifi gone.

Now Williams Racing is prematurely promoting Franco Colapinto to Formula 1 because they wanted Logan Sargeant gone.

The days of Williams being able to paint the team as one big happy family are long gone. It’s a toxic cycle of failing their own academy drivers … especially since Franco will only have the opportunity to drive 9 races for the team and then both of their full-time seat will be filled until 2026 at earliest.

Maybe it’s just easy for me to say this because I’m sitting on my couch and not in the paddock, but the mismanagement of the team lately has been astonishing.

it's not even about logan it's about the fact that teams keep seeing under-experienced drivers under-performing and deciding to replace them with drivers with even less experience as if that's gonna fix anything

it's kinda heartbreaking how no one within f1 has logan's back, people never wants to admit it but being non-european is lonely as hell in this sport because when worst come to worst you're seeing through shit like this (big crash + shitty tp) by yourself, no mentor no friends.

there is still a question of what's next for many of them and I will continue to wait for their respective answers just wanting them to be content with their next step

F1 is a big money business and demands success from people sure but the way Williams have treated Logan has been absolute dogshit and no employee deserves that

F1 Update

I saw the news of Logan Sargeant being dropped from Williams for the remainder of the season and I'm absolutely devastated. Logan was and will always be my favorite driver even though he's gone. I will continue to make fanfics about him in the future but I'm sad to hear that they are no longer keeping him as a driver for them.
