two things i think are REQUIRED for a buck and eddie getting together arc:

eddie has to choose buck. this is necessary character development for both of them (and also for me because otherwise this will be my supervillain origin story). eddie needs to choose something that will make him happy rather than denying himself habitually as punishment, and he needs to admit what he wants. buck needs to be shown that he's wanted, that not only has eddie chosen him specifically but eddie knows him better than anyone else in the world and has seen him at his worst and loves him for it. he doesn't need to be on his best behavior for eddie, ever.

after they kiss buck needs to freak the fuck out and run to maddie or hen or bobby and go "I KISSED EDDIE. I AM A MONSTER. JAIL FOR BUCK FOR ONE THOUSAND YEARS" and then when they make him go through the sequence of events that actually happened they're like "uhhhh it sounds like he kissed you, bud. did you just blank on the whole part where he said he loves you and tenderly caressed your face?" but buck is still breathing into a paper bag.

bonus requirement: eddie needs to kiss buck's birthmark.

While I know most Vanco/Zaundads enthusiasts are focused on the family dynamic centered around Powder for obvious reasons (alternate timeline w/ Vi dead, we’re not really sure when Vanco reunited in that timeline, Jinx and Silco’s relationship in S1, etc.), I feel like we’re missing out on some solid Father-Daughter antics between Silco and Vi. For example:

- Vi growled at people she didn’t like until she was like 10 because she heard someone call Vander the Hound of the Underground and thought that was the coolest thing ever. Silco threatened to muzzle her if she didn’t stop.

- While Powder loves helping Vander out at The Last Drop, Vi insists on being Silco’s “bodyguard” whenever he had business to deal with, whether it’s with the Chem Barons or Piltover elite. Silco appreciates it but also cannot have every meeting end with a fistfight, please just stand in the corner and look menacing, Violet.

- Silco is the only one who calls her Violet. When she was really little he gave her the nickname Petal, which she loathes once she’s older but also secretly loves.

- He’s also the one she goes to when she wants to hear stories about her parents. Vander will tell her the big stuff, how Connol and Felicity met, when Vi was born, etc., but Silco will tell her about how her mom would sing the raunchiest ballads when she got drunk, how her dad hand-carved her crib when he found out Felicity was pregnant; the sweet little in between moments that made them who they were.

- Vi will keep Silco company when he stays up late working, a warm, solid presence pressed into his side. Vander loves it, because the second Vi starts drifting off, Silco will put down his work and help shuffle her off to bed. It’s the most effective way to keep Silco from burning the midnight oil.

What hurts the most about House crying on the table during “Wilson’s Heart” is not merely the fact that he’s crying for the first time on screen (from what I can recall, besides maybe the infarction), but the fact that Wilson has to bear witness to the shit show he MOSTLY CAUSED HIM.

Not only that, but he finally sees House releasing the shoved-deep-within-the-crevice-of-the-back-of-his-mind emotions while on the verge of death thanks (in part) to him; Wilson’s always wanted to help house become emotionally healthier, yet Wilson instead pressures his emotions under an anchor of unbearable stress that he has to cry, in the O.R., in front of his only friend, his employees, and everyone else who might know.

Let alone what House is crying about: unbearable stress is about the best way to put it, as he’s got “killing my best friend’s gf” guilt (even if he says he has none, then that only leaves room for the stress of what Wilson’s reaction might be, which… a gay point for another day), or the fact that he may lose his life in the next few seconds, or the fact that Wilson may watch him lose his life, the literal pain of both his leg and the surgery- God knows all the things he’s stressed about enough to make him shed a single tear. Maybe I’m getting overzealous about this. BUT!

I’m overdosing on my love and appreciation for Wilson but I have to say he’s such a bitch sometimes (respectfully).

if house md were running in 2024 there would be an episode with a patient who identifies as an ‘online content creator’ (cagily) where house agrees to take the case primarily because when he offhandedly refers to her as an onlyfans model both cameron and cuddy get really offended and say it’s a sexist assumption so he doubles down and becomes committed to finding the patient’s onlyfans and proving it. at some point it would be revealed that chase actually is an onlyfans model and started doing it as a stopgap after his dad died and he suddenly got disinherited but he makes so much money off it that now medicine is basically just a hobby. cameron and foreman both disagree with the concept online sex work but it turns out they disagree for different reasons (cameron thinks it’s exploitative and not-feminist, foreman finds it distasteful and thinks people should get ‘real jobs’) and spend most of their scenes together arguing about this while chase gets continually more shifty. they break into the patient’s house and there’s a full ringlight and camera setup which seems to confirm house’s suspicions. while trying to find the patient’s onlyfans house accidentally finds chase’s onlyfans instead and considers publicly embarrassing him about it like he did with wilson’s sex tape but soon realises that most of the staff at the hospital are already subscribed to chase’s onlyfans so makes fun of him for that instead. it then transpires that the reason why the patient is so cagey about being a content creator is that she’s an ASMR artist and all the soap she’s been shaving on camera has irritated her lungs. cuddy is about to make house give her 20 extra hours of clinic duty as recompense but at last minute it’s revealed that the website the patient uses for some of her bonus commissions is, drumroll…onlyfans, because she’s been banned from patreon. how does house know this? wilson is subscribed to her because the soap videos sometimes soothe him to sleep. something by cigarettes after sex plays. roll end credits.
