A Facebook post from Craig Wallace that reads: "As promised, today we are pleased to announce that the Phantom of the Paradise 50th Anniversary celebration will be on November 2nd, 2024 at the Burton Cummings Theatre! Contracts are being signed next week and tickets should go on sale a week or so after that on TicketMaster! Joining us for the celebration, is an amazing line up! Paul Williams - Swan, Peter Elbling, Archie Hahn, and Jeffrey Comanor - The Juicy Fruits, Beach Bums, Undeads, along with others. The evening will entail, so far: A viewing of the movie Phantom of the Paradise, of course, a Q&A session with the cast, Swanage performing the entire album live, a costume contest and other events as we add them. We are planning that this event will run from 6 PM to 11 PM. Are you as excited as we are? To make this event a success, we will need to have 700 tickets sold, while the facility will hold upwards of 1,200."

I could've sworn I read somewhere that "sweet" in Elizabethan parlance is essentially the Old English version of "queer". I can't find any reliable sources to back up that claim but if that context is to be believed, Faust calling Meph "sweet mephistopheles" gives off the same vibes as "gay bowser"
