[id: it’s two screenshots from the JJK manga. the first is of Geto talking about Gojo where he says “he was my best friend. but we fought, and it’s been like this ever since.” The second is of Gojo who is talking about Geto and says ”my best friend did. my one and only.” /end id]

These two panels really get me, Geto referring to their friendship as something that was in the past versus Gojo still viewing Geto as his best friend. The way they view their relationship is different but there’s still care between them. It also ties into Geto being surprised that Gojo still has some form of trust in him and prompts his last words of “you should at least curse me at the very end.” It’s sad that Geto never truly understood how much Gojo cared for him until it was too late
