UPDATE!

The next update is taking longer than anticipated, but it’s coming! Work and health have made it really difficult to write. I’ve written the chapter about four times, and I’ve just now found something I’m sticking to. Since the wait is so long, I’ll make sure this chapter is of high quality. These chapters are always super long so it takes much more effort to write than my other fics. I really hope the wait will be worth it once it’s finished.

Gojo = Infinite (Based on Eastern Dragon for overall design, Harpy Eagle for talons and beak, White Peacock for vibes and tendency to spread his tail)

Nanami = Overtime (Based on Mummies for his wrappings, Lava Monster for the left side of his body (I pictured Te Ka from Moana the most), Daki from Demon Slayer for her ability to control and weaponize her cloth sashes)

Choso = Supernova (Based on Black Main Coon for overall body, Porcupine for his spines (but I also wanted to incorporate his iconic spiky spacebuns with the spines), Antman for his ability to shrink and enlarge (purely bc I really like Paul Rudd)

Todo = Boogie (Based on Tibetan Mastiff and Grizzly Bear for overall body, Cubone from Pokémon for the skull helmet he wears, and his pendant is a reference to the pendant Todo is seen wearing during the Shibuya Arc (he's seen kissing it in the intro for anime-onlys)

Megumi = Chimera (Based on Hexxus fom Ferngully bc of his goopiness, Susuwatari from Studio Ghibli bc of his ability to shrink into his own shadow and his sea urchin-ness, Gaster from Undertale for more goop inspo)

Nobara = Resonance (Based on a Marionette Doll for her body and movement, Biollante from Godzilla for here weaponized roses, and Mannequins from Resident Evil 8 purely for the creepy factor she can have)

Cursed Guardian Concept Designs: Infinite

Cursed Soul Gojo! Here are some of the designs I ran through. I cant draw for shit but hopefully this helps visualize our bird better.

The first image (top left) is my first idea of his design. It was in my head before I even finished the first chapter of the story. The concept of his mask, beak, and feathers stayed. He no longer has a humanish body.

Second design (top right) Tried drawing his with the feathers but it looks terrible. I cant draw fur or feathers properly, so please look at it as placement marks. I tried giving him a longer neck and wrapping it in his mask. Didn’t have enough room to draw his tail so it just became a blob. It’s what surrounds you if you dare look at our boy Yuuji the wrong way.

Third design (bottom) Looked up eastern dragon references and birds. Couldn’t draw the talons whatsoever :,) I tried. Finally got around to showing off his segmented body tho! His feathers are still there but i didn’t draw them in his fur. I decided to try added the bandages from JJK 0 instead of making it all his black mask but I’m unsure which I prefer.

Things to help imagine him! (Guide for me to keep his design consistent ^^)

- Infinite is based on an eastern dragon and predatory birds (mostly harpy eagles

- Infinite’s tail is made entirely out of smoke (not feathers anymore)

- Infinite’s mask covers his eyes and he has it wrapped around his neck

- Infinite can appear as a fog of eyes instead of fully manifesting

- Infinite’s beak is hooked and serrated

- Infinite’s body is segmented not connected

- Infinite is as loud as a bird and sounds like one! Aka he is the most annoying
