TS3 Accessory Contacts for Babies - 4t3 Beetle Eyes 2 by @squea

I’ve always hated the way babies’ eye textures are linked to their skintone. You can’t see the baby’s genetic eye color, the sclera is only distinguishable from skin on the palest of babies, and alien babies all have human eyes. While searching for the nth time for a fix, I came across this Sims 3 Tutorial Hub post suggesting accessory contacts as a potential workaround. So I tried making some! These use squea’s Beetle Eye 2 textures for the pupil and sclera, on top of the eye texture from Chisami’s Blush Baby default skin.

How to use:

Enable cheats, shift + click the baby, then select Edit Sim in Create a Sim. You’ll only need to apply the accessory contacts for the baby’s Everyday outfit.

Or you can use a mod, like NRaas Master Controller. Click on the baby, then select NRaas > Master Controller > Advanced > Edit in CAS.

Compatibility:

In addition to Chisami’s Blush Baby default (used in the preview), I’ve tested these with vanilla Maxis, Brntwaffles’ Baby Soft default, Kurasoberina’s Primer Skin, and @danjaley​‘s Sims 2 Baby for Sims 3.

These are categorized as rings. If you use other baby accessories also categorized as rings, you can still use this at the same time by enabling multiple accessories per category with NRaas Master Controller (Integration module recommended to access settings in CAS). With Integration, just right-click the Options button in CAS, then set Multiple Accessories Per Location to True. Or, in Live Mode/without Integration, click a computer or the Town Hall, then navigate to NRaas > Master Controller > Settings > CAS > Multiple Accessories Per Location > set to True.

Sending hi to @nectar-cellar, because they had this hairstyle in their to-do list and kindly passed it to me

For this one I made two versions: with kind of texture edit and EA controls I normally do, and alternative - a bit darker and with 3 colour channels (roots, base and ends), which resembles original clay-texture more

I love this clay hair in TS4 so much. So handsome and ruggedly tousled. It's appropriate for Simblreen ok because you can put it on a sexy scary werewolf or bear or VILF even. I got some comments asking about this one, I've kept it to myself for long enough...

The hairline is not the cleanest... I did the best I could...
