While the world’s attention is on Gaza, life for Palestinians in the West Bank is also growing increasingly precarious. There has been a surge in settler violence and a spike in unlawful lethal force from Israeli forces. More than 400 Palestinians from East Jerusalem and the West Bank have been killed by Israeli fire since 7 October, according to the Palestinian health ministry. The Israeli human rights group B’Tselem has said that about 100 of these deaths have been children, most of whom posed no credible threat to heavily armed soldiers from one of the most powerful militaries in the world.
I am salah from Gaza. I have two children, Youssef, 12 years old, and Nour, 7 years old. Because of the fierce war, we lost everything we owned, I’m lost everything made... and my children lost every beautiful thing in his life. We were displaced to the south of the Gaza Strip several times. We endured a lot of meager and contaminated food and drink, and we were exposed to close-up death in all its forms... and we survived it miraculously. I feel pain as I write to you...as I had to start this castle to save myself and my family from this humanitarian disaster... Save my family... I will post some pictures of my children and my home for you.
Hello, My name is Mosab, and I live in Gaza with my family. Life here has become harder than I ever imagined, and I’m writing this with hope in my heart that you might hear our story.
The ongoing war has devastated my family. We’ve lost 25 family members—each one a beloved part of our lives, taken too soon. I miss them deeply—their laughter, their presence, their love. Every day is a reminder of this unimaginable loss.
We are now facing daily challenges to survive—things that most people take for granted, like food, clean water, and a safe place to sleep. The harsh realities of life here have replaced our dreams with the constant fight for survival.
💔 Lost Stability: The war has left us without work or a stable source of income.
📚 Dreams on Hold: Like so many here, my family’s dreams have been replaced by the need to simply survive.
😢 Unimaginable Loss: Losing 25 loved ones has left a void that can never be filled.
I’m sharing our story with the hope that someone out there might care. Even $10 can make a big difference for us, and if you’re unable to donate, just reblogging this post can help spread the word.
Your kindness, no matter how small, is something we’ll never forget.
Your support is not about changing our entire situation—it’s about giving us a little relief, a little hope, and a way to keep going. We are not asking for much, and we understand if you can’t donate. Sharing our story is just as valuable to us as a donation.
Thank you for reading this far. It means the world to us to know that someone is listening. Your kindness gives us strength and helps us believe in a better tomorrow.
With all our gratitude,
Mosab and Family ❤️
Hey even though the Defense spending bill that removes trans health care from TriCare is expected to pass the Senate, we should make noise about it anyway. Don't get complacent.
I made it easy to send a letter to your Senators, if you're in the US and not up for calling:
Feel free to use this wording as a basis for a script if you do call.
As protests start ramping up and violence escalates please remember:
DO NOT PUT MILK IN YOUR EYES FOR PEPPER SPRAY OR TEAR GAS.
It can and will cause infection due to bacteria. Flush with water, distilled if possible, and never EVER wear contact lenses to protests where there may be police retaliation.
Please reblog. It may save someone's sight.
Hello, it's me again writing to you on behalf of @amalashuor situation and how heartbroken she is about her baby to start learning how to walk and talk in the ongoing genocide. Her baby's name is Maryam, and she is one year and 9 months old.
Amal is worried about the dire situation in which her little daughter is growing up, and unfortunately, with the rise in food prices and the difficulty of accessing water, the impact on Maryam's health is very clear. Maryam's favorite food was fruit purée, and since the beginning of the war, her parents have not been able to obtain it on a daily basis, given that the price of a kilo of fruit is $15 and the price of milk and diapers is $500 per month, so you can imagine that the priority is alwaysgoingtobethat With the approach of winter, Amal hopes that we will extend a helping hand to her and help her get a place to rent to shelter them from upcoming gaza winter please donate and reblog 🙏 ❤️

I'm Yara, 22, from Rafah, Gaza, now living in Mawasi Khan Yunis. I'm a physical therapy student whose studies have been disrupted by the war. I’m supporting my family of nine, including parents, siblings, and three young children. We were displaced from our home in Rafah, which was destroyed. Before the war, I was pursuing a cupping course to support myself, but the conflict has halted it.
The message is a heartfelt appeal for help to rescue the family from a dire situation. It emphasizes that any contribution, whether financial or through sharing the message, could make a significant difference in their lives.

All of those children would be alive and happy had hamas not attacked Israel. That's who you should blame.
Alive and happy? But for how long?
Will they be alive and happy just to endure the next Israeli aggression on Gaza, projected to happen just within a year, the 5th or 6th one they have endured in their lifetime, which they have spent the entirety of living under Israeli siege in an open air prison?
Israel kills children without provocation. We are able to see it because we understand Israel to be a settler colonial state that adopts a settler colonial mindset. This genocidal mindset is embodied by the infamous colonel Chivington quote "kill them all, big and small, nits make lice!"
As a settler colony, it is a moral imperative - a duty - for Israel to kill off the native population. There's a reason why maternity wards in Gaza’s hospitals were destroyed and infants in incubators have been left to rot and decay. The same reason why Israel had killed over 230 children in the West Bank since 2023 alone.
What I believe you really want to say is: these children would have been alive until Israel decides to kill them.
Haneen reached out to me on Twitter to share her fundraiser. She’s trying to raise €30,000 to help evacuate her family from Gaza to Egypt. She’s only made €1,543 of her goal as of today, April 2nd 2024. This is urgent!
Please donate if you can, and share if you can’t.
From Haneen’s GFM page:
My name is Haneen, a Palestinian with permanent residency in Belgium... With great sadness, I'm reaching out to you today for help getting my family members out of Gaza to Egypt. My family lost our home when the neighborhood was bombed and destroyed. There are five members of my family in Gaza, including my father, mother and three sisters. My family lost everything in this war, including our businesses and homes. During the war, my family was evacuated from north to south, became homeless and evacuating more than five times. They are now living on the streets, and they do not have anywhere to live. They are now living in the most difficult conditions. Besides my mother, who suffering from health problems. She left intensive care weeks before the war and needs health care, and my father, for whom we cannot find medication, as well as lack of access to clean water and food. My family members are highly educated and come from different backgrounds. My father is a lawyer, my mother is a housewife, and my first three sisters are an engineer, the second is a lawyer, and the other is an administrator, but now they have lost everything and all their sources of income. However, they were unable to receive any financial or food assistance for the displaced and this meant that my family would be responsible for all expenses As a result, I am their only hope of leaving Gaza for Egypt and I am responsible for all costs. Please help me collect travel costs for five people. In order to facilitate the evacuation of my family from Gaza, where the situation is catastrophic and very dangerous. I'm setting up a GoFundMe campaign to raise $30,000, here's the breakdown of the money: $30,000: A total amount of US$25,000 has been allocated to cover expenses associated with obtaining permits to leave Gaza, in addition to transit fees at Rafah, on the Egypt-Gaza border, with US$5,000 being the departure expense for each member of my family. It is estimated that the amount will be US$5,000. Enough to cover the basic needs of my family in Egypt for 3 months , including housing, food, treatment, and other necessities. Every donation, no matter how small, will make a significant difference to my family's safety. The funds raised will be used transparently and efficiently to ensure that every dollar is spent on ensuring their safety. My family and I are deeply grateful for your support, and I am deeply grateful for any assistance you may be able to provide during this difficult time. Please share this campaign with your friends, family, and colleagues so that we can reach our goal and provide safety for my family Please accept my sincere thanks for your kindness and support, as well as your willingness to stand with us in solidarity, as together, we can make a difference and help my family find safety and security. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Haneen
