I was still babbling when Boris said: “Potter.” Before I could answer him he put both hands on my face and kissed me on the mouth. i just realized a similarity between jayce & jinx (and someone can correct me on this), but they both have been shown to have mental issues, hearing voices telling them what they should do and that are bothering them.

however, we never hear the voices of their partners. jinx never hears the voice of ekko when things are too bothersome for her. jayce never hears viktor’s voice in that cave.

and ekko and viktor literally kept them from falling off the edge. they reminded jayce & jinx of what they dreamed of since they were little (viktor renewing jayce’s passion for creating magic, ekko reigniting jinx’s dream of riding on one of those airships). it really does just take one person to care and jinx and jayce had that person be there for them at their lowest, and still deemed them beautiful.
