Lore Dropping Is Kinda Crazy Because Sometimes When I’m Mid Conversation I Realize That Actually Did

I'm Mint and this is my blog as you can see and i will probably post my drawings here or some stuff about my oc's. It probably won't be often though since i don't have much time to draw at this time.

I also want to say i draw for fun so it's mostly not great but it makes me happy to share my works with others. I want to keep this blog SFW so if you'd want to ask or comment something i would ask to not say anything suggestive, but i also don't think my posts will somehow imply anything like this.

When i'll talk about my oc's there might be parts connected to sensitive topics such as religious trauma, depression or other mental disorders, but i will keep everything properly tagged and make sure to put trigger warnings before mentioning any of those topics in more detail.

Also i got insipired by Chase Atlantic song "What you call that" if you couldn't tell (but you probably could😭)

Meet Sigris, one of my oc's. She's pretty old one, but i forgot about her, so her lore and design can change, but for now she is a huge hornet who guards one of the magical and powerfull (not really) gems, that once belonged to ancient goddess (also not really).

I will talk about those not reallies in some other post, because it would take too long now 🥲

Punctuating Dialogue

➸ “This is a sentence with a dialogue tag at the end,” she said.

➸ “This,” he said, “is a sentence split by a dialogue tag.”

➸ “This is a sentence,” she said. “This is a new sentence. New sentences are capitalized.”

➸ “This is a sentence followed by an action.” He stood. “They are separate sentences because he did not speak by standing.”

➸ She said, “Use a comma to introduce dialogue. The quote is capitalized when the dialogue tag is at the beginning.”

“Or an exclamation point!” he answered. “The dialogue tag still remains uncapitalized because it’s not truly the end of the sentence.”

However, if it’s not dialogue exclamation points can also be “outside”!

If it’s not dialogue, can question marks be “outside”? (Yes, they can.)

“Interruption” — but there are situations dashes may be outside.
