We stan a rat baby they/them
NO ONE TOUCH ME THEY ARE ALL DATING
sherlock holmes deduces you are trans before you've figured it out yourself and refers to you with those pronouns and then when you look confused is like "ah...had you not arrived at that conclusion yet?" and wafts away in his dressing gown to smoke seventeen pipes, leaving you in a gender crisis
Okay but legit, the first time I saw this scene, those words struck a cord within in me. The music that plays, the way Flynn Carson says that, to three people who don't quite fit in anywhere. Except they fit in with the library. He offers then a home, a world that's they fit in with.
And for some reason when ever I need motivation I always go back to this scene. Because with this scene I'm reminded that somewhere, out there I'll fit in and somewhere out there I can do some good. And that life may have it's ups and downs but there will always be a place for me. And as a kid growing up I needed that.
And it's also like he's talking to the audience too.
Oh, impossible! Pipsy-posh! Pipsy-posh, Jenkins! People keep saying that as if we don’t eat the impossible for breakfast every day.
Friendly reminder that Lana fucking improvised this scene (Regina sitting on Emma's desk) and what we see here is JMo's real reaction, not Emma's 😌
I see a lot of people who tell young people–especially young people who are heading into college–that they should “do what they love.” And they’re right. You should do what you love.
But there’s a world of difference between doing what you love for you, and doing what you love for a paycheck.
I went to undergrad for graphic design and 3-D design–art and more art, I usually say–and I loved it. You know what I didn’t love? Trying to collect my fees from clients. Trying to meet unrealistic, over-simplified or over-specific briefs from people who didn’t know what they were talking about. Coming home, having worked creatively all day, with no creative juice left for the things I wanted to do.
You know what I would tell you instead? Do something that you can be interested in, with people you like.
You don’t have to love it. Loving your work can be a lot, and it often means you have to live in your job 24/7. Some people can do that. Not everyone can, or should. But if you can find work that’s interesting enough that it doesn’t feel tedious, and people you can enjoy spending your 9-5 with, and you can make money, that’s great! It means you can do the things you love for you.
I’m in law school now. It’s interesting work, and difficult, and I like doing it. I like how complicated it gets, and I like the stories it tells. But I don’t come home and read law journals for fun. I come home, and I sculpt, and I draw, and I paint, and I read. I do these things for me.
And I love it.
Instead of a gender reveal party, have a queen curse you and the only person or creature that can save you or help you is the goblin man in the basement who can see the future so you go down and make a deal with him and then he reveals the gender of your baby
hc that aaron has his own super close friend group and it’s not his classmates it’s the vixens
he’s constantly over at katelyn’s dorm and katelyn’s flatmates LOVE hearing the stupid fox bullshit they find it so funny, especially when aaron adds his own asshole commentary
The deans were totally ex's or at least hooked up several times right?
I think Kusuo Saiki and Anzu Hoshino would be good friends. Two people who don't want to be apart of a harem but still become friends with them and treat them like people. Both love sweets (Saiki would feel sad that this tiny seemly-indestructable magical wizard is preventing her from eating her favorite sweet. He would have killed Riri). Neither can handle bugs. Both have stereotype friends that actually have more to them than they seem (they would love each other's friend groups. For the most part anyway). Saiki would feel safe around Anzu since she would NOT let anyone get away with stalking or trying to trap him. Saiki wouldn't let anyone do the same to her either. I think after a situation got a bit too out of hand in Anzu's life, Saiki would tell her he has psychic powers and she would be like "Are you with the wizard?" and he'd be like "No" and then they'd be friends.
