How much % machine and how much % biological are the iterators in your headcanon?

Ah, that's a good question! Unfortunately I don't have a very detailed answer for you aha...I haven't thought a lot about it, hopefully I'll have more headcanons I can share in the future.

Currently, my headcanon for iterators is they exist within a perfect 50/50. 50% metal, 50% biological. Every part of them is intertwined with cells, DNA, nerves, veins, and other organism-y type things.

The reason for a perfect 50/50 is I assume the taboos are written into the biological components of an iterator, so if a taboo is triggered, it must effect the entire iterator. For them to get the point of course.

I apologize for the vague answer, I just didn't want to leave this unanswered until I figure it out aha. Hopefully I'll be able to conjure a decent post about iterator biology one of these days. Thank you for askin!

Hahaa got more free time, and i've had pokemon brainrot so time to work on this au again!

For context, in this au Koraidon and Miraidon are sentient. I had a conversation with some friends about how since the two legendaries are intellegent here, they might help young Arven where they could. We love Arven narrowly avoiding death via lizard sympathy

Below is au summary + refs and other information that will be added over time

Miraidon and Koraidon are a massive secret in this au, as well as the other paradox pokemon and Area Zero. However unlike the other secretive paradox pokemon, Miraidon and Koraidon are sentient and intellegent in this au, making their life in hiding a bit hard.

However that changed when they found they both had alternate humanoid forms they could change into at will. Instead of having to hide for the rest of their lives under Arven's care, they could exist as humans and actually live their lives- Though maybe not in the way they had expected.

Turns out the explanation for their alternate forms is the fact all legendaries here have one, which they find out later when they're taken under the other legendary's wings (specically Dialga).

Dialga's reference. As explained in this post, Dialga is an employer/mentor sort of figure for Mirai and Korai. What exactly they do for him is yet to be explained.
