Hyena!Danny AU Masterpost

So I've seen some people talk about how Belos ruined the human Realm for Hunter by possessing him and killing Flapjack and that's why he was ready to go back to the Demon Realm, but honestly I take a slightly different interpretation.

Having grown up in an abusive home that I managed to escape from the scene rang with extreme familiarity and felt like it was depicting what happens if you reach a turning point and and are able to find the strength to fight back against your abuser. (Which is great to see in kid's media, love it, it's so encouraging wrt to your *right* to think your abuser is jackass.)

I mean at the end of the day, Belos had already "ruined" the Demon Realm, too. It was the place where Hunter was abused and manipulated. People have pointed out in some meta that he talks about "that throne room" the way abuse victims talk about "that house" when talking about where they were abused. Because that throne room was where he emotionally abused and if the implications about physical abuse are right, it's where he was likely physically abused as well, because of the privacy there.

We see the throne room is the private place where Hunter is expected to drop to a knee and bow before him, and to stay mostly still even as Belos nearly strikes his face. It's the place where sometimes it's only Hunter and Belos, where he's free to hurt him all he wants, with words or blows.

That said, I do think the human world was very good for him and definitely a revelation. It was a place where the nearest adult, Camila, was kind and nurturing and willing to take on parenting a whole gaggle of kids, constantly trying to figure out what's best for them (hence the trying to figure out where to find apple blood and their diets, etc).

It was safe for him to take up soft, non-combat hobbies useless to being a Coven guard like sewing (gently taught to him by Camila, a kind adult) to pick up nerdy interests like cosplay and basically being a Trekkie, and to wear comfy sweaters (and crocs!) instead of things with utility or decorum.

The human world being a place without Belos made him feel safe enough to be a normal teen. Openly. Not in secret, talking to online friends on Penstagram on his Scroll where Belos couldn't see (a hugely accurate thing for a lot of abuse victims, online friends being a lifeline).

But unfortunately Belos was there, and alive, and as long as Belos is alive he's going to try to hurt Hunter, his home realm, Hunter's loved ones, and their loved ones.

After Flapjack dies the worst has happened. Belos came after him. Again. He literally controlled his body itself, and bored his way under his skin. Given he was consuming the flesh of animals and how he was back to full size after leaving Hunter, and Hunter was injured in the spots where he was goo, and needed to be healed, he possibly even dissolved and consumed some of his body.

And he killed his first friend - and lbr his best friend. With Hunter's own hands.

But the thing that makes it not just about something bad happening on Earth is that he still clearly loves parts of his home realm. There are things there he's always wanted that he still wants to have and tells Belos as such. Being a normal student at Hexside. Flyer derby with his friends. Learning about wild magic and Palismen-carving. He still calls it "home" probably in part for all the things there that he wanted to have growing up that Belos wouldn't let him. Things he's ready to fight for.

He loves things in both worlds, and Belos is clearly a threat in both worlds - a threat Hunter finally managed to resist. And even though Flapjack died, Hunter's still alive to fight because of his sacrifice.

He's ready to fight to make Belos pay for his deceit, abuse, and forced isolation; for trying to kill his world on the Day of Unity; for attacking his friends; and for his Palisman's murder.

It doesn't seem like he's leaving the human world because it's ruined, it comes off more like he's finally overcome his fear enough to go back to reclaim the world where he was abused because it's the home of his friends and because of all the good in it he always wanted to have. It's time to go home and make it safe enough to be home.

Yes, he looks exhausted, but he's the first one to go through after Belos, which is pretty fearless. It doesn't read like defeat, it reads like he's ready to walk through the portal and send an old man straight to hell.

Cutest Dani with Papa Professor/Teacher Danny, who is teaching history at Gotham University. (As he can just meet historical people in the ghost zone.) +

After the years did go by, Danny was able to do better with his enemies; he was a teacher! Ghost Writer and Clockworks fault + small but of Mr. Lancer, and in the Zone he was able to meet historical figures pretty easily. + That was how Danny became the youngest professor in the US with his master's thesis in history.

And then he became a professor in Gotham; his students weren't sure how to feel about a teacher their age or younger. But ironically, he was the best teacher they ever had at the university! So people had no problem.

And Danny showing off his baby girl, Dani, is fun for him too! Hey, the job makes sure his daughter Dani can go to the university for free in the future. And his students really like Dani! + Adult Danny and Ellie Look i had before me. (Manhwa:" male lead's little lion daughter)

And Cassandra Cain was a pretty good person who spent time with Dani. When she visits the University for Tim, she found Dani.. And kind of forgot she wanted to visit Tim. + Wayne Manor Tim:" I fear my professor will become my brother-in-law." +Extra+ Archaeologists:" I dreamed and worked my whole life to find a book handwritten by Shakespeare!" Professor! Danny: " I have like 3 of them and gave 1 to my teacher for an A+ in history and English for the rest of the year. Man, Mr. Lancer did cry for like 2 weeks after that."

+ And to the Archaeologist's horror, it's really an original one. They found Mr. Lancer of Amity Park, who proudly showed them the book. So many historians and Archaeologist don't leave Danny alone; they know he has a lot of things like that but no idea where he hides them!

Can't Love An Anchor

While Tim was relieved to have Bruce back in his proper place and everyone safe and exactly where they were supposed to be, it really only served to remind him that they were all horribly unreliable and that he would not be able to trust these people with something so important as his beloved Dani, the daughter of his very soul. She had gone to all the trouble of helping him in his new incarnation to the point of becoming so injured that the only way to save her was to incubate her core and he would not be taking any sort of chances with her safety. Not again, not with them. At least with Bruce back and things relatively back to normal he could trust that Gotham would remain in one piece while he was gone.

Tim sighed, his mortal body heavy and exhausted with the sudden pregnancy and the lack of proper nutrition and sleep as he worked hard to gather together the things he needed to return to the Infinite Realms. He wouldn’t stay for his whole mortal life of course, but he would need an actually safe space to incubate his clone child. He really couldn’t risk Dani on a vigilante mission or getting sucked into some dangerous what-not in Gotham. It would suck and kind of drive him a little crazy but he needed to detach until he could give birth to Dani and get back into the lifestyle again. Though things would have to change a lot after Dani came; she would also be half-mortal after all and he would need to actually raise her himself this time. Their relationship would be much closer than the “cousins” they had settled for in their first lives together.

Tim could admit if only to himself that he was actually looking forward to having a family again. Before his memories had come back he had desperately, to an embarrassing degree really, been hoping that the Wayne's would be that family. But being reunited with Dani he could have his own real family! She would be his daughter this time and though he wasn’t Danny Fenton anymore, with this reincarnation she also wouldn’t be Danielle Phantom anymore! She would be Danielle Drake, he already had it all planned out. He was so excited, not so much about having to go through the nightmare of teen pregnancy, but Dani was back! The only way it would be better would be if Jazz could join him in the mortal world.

Being Tim Drake had been a lot lonelier than being Danny Fenton ever had been. Until he had regained his memories of his life and death as Danny Fenton, Tim hadn’t really realized just how lonely he had been. He missed his best friends, he missed his family, hell he even missed Dan. Which was its own can of worms. But still, Tim had many new plans for this shift in his life. He may not have any support in the mortal world but he would be returning to the Infinite Realms and at least by going to the Infinite for protection and hiding out he could be reunited with Jazz and even Sam and Tucker. He wondered how their Lairs had developed while he was gone. It would be nice to get to talk to them again.

The reality of it was that with Tim’s previous life and death’s memories restored his view of the bat “family” and his own relationships with each of them individually had shifted down to a fundamental level and he just couldn’t view them in the same way he had before he had “woken up”. So when Tim managed to make all his arrangements and gather everything he needed; he hadn’t even thought to inform them of what was going on and where exactly he would be going. In fact, the most he had done was send a company email explaining a sudden leave of absence due to health concerns and a brief letter he was sure that Bruce would eventually come across once he needed help again. It had a list of numbers and resources to contact for assistance and access to one of his better AI systems to help with any cases they happened to get stuck on.

Tim was hoping they wouldn’t actually need him for the next year or so. He wanted to be sure Dani was strong enough for a nanny by the time he needed to start working again. He was on the fence about retiring as a vigilante entirely until Dani was old enough. He wondered if she would want to become his sidekick; that might be fun! Oh, but his heart couldn’t bear it if she got hurt this badly again. Tim put those speculations aside so that he could focus on making a new portal gun so that he could get back into the Infinite, it had been ages since he’d used ectoplasm in his tech. It was quite fun to work on proper ghost tech again! The gun didn’t even take him all that long, so much for all that unnecessary prep work!

Still, as that swirling green sparked into existence in the middle of his safe house living room and the comforting chill of the Infinite Realms spilled into the room and across his very soul Danny…Tim breathed in deeply and felt the first comforting chill of coming home wash over him, his steps firm and steady as he walked into that endless green. The shift from one realm to the next might have disoriented anyone else, but Tim only felt at last like all the weight of his human life had been lifted as vast green skies opened up in his vision and a towering castle like observatory tower welcomed him back.

“Welcome home Danny, you’re early.” A gentle teasing voice greeted him as the green portal collapsed behind him.

Tim Drake-Wayne left behind only a farewell letter, a bare safe house, his resources, and a positive pregnancy test in the trash.

Danny didn't know how this had happened. He really didn't. All he had done was befriend the Young Justice as a civilian in order to throw them off the scent of some small time vigilantism he was doing. Now his rinky dink college apartment was like a hub for all the young superheroes. Both the Young Justice and the Teen Titans would stop by all the time. Hell, even the Outlaws and Titans popped in on occasion.

He won't lie, he does enjoy their company quite a bit. It's just that it's becoming increasingly hard to hide his former heroic tendencies with everyone constantly dropping by.

I'm sorry but I'm looking for a prompt about Amity Park finding out that Phantom was a dead kid and is having to throw him a funeral and Vlad and all of Danny's enemies show up to celebrate the fact that Danny's finally getting a funeral and the Justice League show up thinking it was about a dead hero

I'm happy to say that I have returned also I really love your writing that's why I bother you so much if you're okay with it.

I just can't stop imagining Danny starting to date people anytime he really likes the person he locks them off the timestream just means Clockwork cannot look into that person's past present and future because Danny finds it embarrassing. So Pandora, Frostbite ,Dora, and CW have no choice but to do with the old-fashioned way and just follow Danny on his date.

Like one day I don't know where the Justice League just gets so alarmed that like a high level entity has just been moving around the world so like they find the location once they find the location Justice League is geared up for a brawl and it's just time lord, a yeti a medieval dragon princess ,and first animazonian trying to make sure that young King Phantom first date goes well. While all of this is happening Danny and Damian Wayne are having the first date ever.

Lol, poor Danny. He's just trying to have a normal dating life without his overbearing ghost parents spying on him. He thought that locking them out while he goes on his dates would be enough but clearly it isn't because they just found a work around!!

The Justice League expecting a fight because a group of powerful extradimensional entities just barged into their dimension all at the same time. Except they're crouched in a cluster of bushes within sight range of Damian Wayne of all people and a relatively normal looking young man that he's on a date with. At first they probably think these entities are after the Wayne kid and go to confront them which frustrates the dragon princess immediately and causes her to breath fire at them and essentially tell them to buzz off before they get caught!

Danny: Dora?! What- Clockwork?! Oh my stars are you serious right now?! Frostbite and Pandora too! Clock: ...Now Danny we were just making sure you were safe. Pandora: We only wished to observe...just for a bit. (won't look him in the eye) Frostbite: Forgive us Great One, we were simply concerned. (guilty look) Dorathea: Apologies, my king. We meant well... Danny: I can't believe you guys. I asked for privacy for a reason. I can't find a good partner if you guys are constantly watching me!

The Justice League is baffled. Damian realizing he scored a legit king of a powerful species from a different dimension as his normal self and getting pretty smug about it tbh. He didn't even need to pull out the Robin card to gain an excellent suitor, this one liked his personality.
