Well, I believe that murder should be legal if the person is a jerk.
Mythros, about Waltz, probably (via incorrectdicesukiquotes)
117? ;)
117 - Chains
Sometimes Myth wondered what would have been, if his promise to his queen hadn’t chained him to the palace after she had entered the Crystallum. No physical chains, just himself and his wants, wishes and hopes, but still chains, binding him to this place he hated, now that there were humans freely walking around here.
He wasn’t sure if he would have preferred physical chains. It would have made it easier to resist sending curses at these useless beings badmouthing his queen.
At least they did so quiety, less the princess overhear them.
The crown princess was also a chain in a way. He was bound to her immediate surroundings and needed her close for her eighteenth birthday, so she could free her mother.
So many bindings...
He was eagerly awaiting the time, he could slip them.
What about 005?
You shall receive!
005 - Seeking Solace
Memoriesand dreams were the only solace Myth still had. His queen was encased incrystal. He was hiding who he was, unable to trust anyone and not able to moveanywhere, where hiding would be unnecessary.
He didn’twant to hide, to play loyal pawn to the king, who was undoing his queen’s work!He wanted-!
If he wascompletely truthful, he wanted his life back from before the Hunts. Being ableto hug his mother for reassurance and his father there to chase imaginarymonsters away. Seeking solace in the warmth and protection only his parents couldoffer him until they had gone up in flames together with everything else.
And whilethe queen had taken him in, she wasn’t someone to coddle her apprentices. Shewas no one to offer reassurance. Not to him, who wasn’t her child. She was noone to went to, to seek solace. She was a beacon, shining bright, but too coldto offer comfort or warmth. The only safety it offered was the light illuminatingyour surroundings.
But Mythmissed the warmth, missed the safety and having a place to belong. As it was,he needed to seek solace in his memories and dreams.
Advertising for my own work. A Cinderella Phenomenon fanfiction, with a slow build Lucette/Myth pairing.
As of October the 23rd it has 9 chapters and roughly 44k words.
Lucette is the MC and the story is mostly from her point of view. Whoever wants can go and take a look.^^ (And leave a review, if they want to. I love feedback.)
I feel like I need to apologize, because the other one wasn’t a drabble at all and not even real angst. Have something morey angsty instead.
Sometimes Myth saw things that weren’t there. It wasn’t following a patter he could control. Work came in waves, cutting his sleep and with a tired mind, his eyes played tricks on him.
There were shadows reaching for him, fires reaching up to the ceiling, the coppery smell of blood choking him. Then something startled him out of it, mostly the sudden screams echoing in his own head.
The world was unfair. Crying for the past and lost things was useless. He still sometimes wished he had never needed to learn it. He would need to live with his nightmares.
Fire was the worst, flickering in each fireplace, bright and happy and crackling, accompanied by the phantom smell of burned flesh summoning the urge to run, run, run! He wasn’t sure if that-if he ever gave in to that urge again- he could run far enough to forget this time around that he was the only one left of that place he had called home once.
71! (and with our dear Lucy if you would)
71 - Obession
Sometimes Myth couldn’t resist looking at the princess, like he looked at the portrait of his queen.
Imagening her looking at him and him alone.
She looked so much like her mother as well, the same hair, regal composure and a grace befitting her standing.
And utterly beautiful as well.
Myth knew better than imagening any kind of relationship with his queen. She was his teacher, his mentor, his savior as well. But she was also married -if only to gain access to the royal resources- and didn’t bother with any kind of familial relationships outside her daughter.
A daughter who was slowly maturing into something looking enough like her mother that it was easy to not feel the disgust for her, he had initially felt upon learning of her contact with Waltz and still different enough that he was very aware that she wasn’t his queen.
But she would be a queen at one point as well…
Myth was hoping she would be his by then, an allowance from her and a reward from his queen at the same time.
He hoped his queen would allow that…

71 - Obsession :)
071 - Obsession
The crystal was slightly glowing, just like always. His queen was safely enclosed, sleeping like she had for the last months. Months he had spent busy to assure the success of the task she had given him
There was no way, he was going to fail. Failure wasn’t tolerated. He was the only apprentice now. The loyal one. He would work on freeing her and succed and she would praise him, acknowledge that he was the better student.
His loyalty would be rewarded. Him fulfilling his task would be reward. These rewards was all he wanted. Only serving his Queen was important.
This is the Secret Santa gift I received on the Discord server, where some CP fans came together and decided to participate in a Secret Santa. I love the gift very much and how could I not add it to this collection of Myth fanwork.^^
My Secret Santa gift to Verona-mira. I hope you like it! The prompt was redeemed Myth getting roped into a Marchen Christmas Celebration. It’s about 1k words and Myth/Lucette!

Do you have any scenario with Mythros you would like to see?
Canon or Fanon?
Canonwise I would love to see how exactly Myth managed to get into the palace after the Great War was over. He would have been just twenty at most at that point and I don’t see the king trusting someone that young without a very good reaon.
Fanonwise… I don’t really know there. Maybe AUs, what may have happened if Myth had followed Waltz into treason (maybe recognizing Hildyr wasn’t attached to him). Or one where another party used the commotion of the rebellion to invade the palace to hunt down the “witch spawn“ and him shielding Lucette instead of helping his master.
I also spent some of my time trying to plan out a Myth-Route. Which is… not going along that well and still needs quite some work.
myth and fritz drabble?
Have a small piece.
Sometimes Mythwasn’t sure how the knight was able to be so genuinely good.
It wasn’tthat the boy was trying to be charming or trying to woe her. He was… way tooobvious for that.
But in away they were the same. Bound by their oaths, their duties, their promises. Theknight was just way more open about it, his promises and oaths known. His dutiesnot needing to be hidden.
Both oftheir duties would be dangerous under specific circumstances. And none of themwould simply abandon them. It was just how they were. Even when they haddifferent reasons for it.
In the end, they were both just doing their jobs, driven and motivated by personal agendas.
