Top 10 (Johnlock) ships
So, @msholmes02 tagged me on this (Thank you ❤️). I decided to break this blog’s dynamic a little and do this Top 10.
To not get too far from the theme of the blog, I will tag a top 10 Johnlock ships
1) Granada Holmes (The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes)
I think this is one of the best Sherlock Holmes adaptions and the relationship between (Both) Watson(s) and Holmes is a marvel. They so soft and tender to each other. (And it’s the closest to the canon)
2) ACD Canon
I would put this on first too, but there is something to Brett’s, Burke’s and Hardwicke’s acting and forces me to put this on second position. But still, their relationship in canon is so beautiful and pure and makes my heart melt.
3) BBC Sherlock
Besides everything that happened in the series, this is still one of my favourites. I won’t criticise everything that I think is wrong with the series, because this is not the place for me to do so. But oh! If they had taken advantage of the things they had…
4) The Great Mouse Detective
The movie is awesome! Like, if you didn’t watched it, do it like immediately. And their relationship between Basil and Dawson is so funny and wonderful.
5) Richie Holmes
Despite the distancing from the book, their relationship in this saga does not lose to the other adaptations, in my opinion. They love (and hate) each other. And their dynamic is hilarious.
6) Russian Holmes
They are married, this is all I have to say.
7) The Private Life of Sherlock Holmes
The movie is really great. It shows a perspective from their relationship that few dared to show. But, it shows a Holmes visibly pining, and a Watson that is (purposely) obtuse to it.
8) Rathbone’s Holmes
It’s a classic and their relationship has its moments. It’s not something that you can smell the romance. But the films are quite good.
9) Miss Sherlock
The newest of Holmes adaptations have interesting perspectives on Wato and Sherlock’s relationship (They are similar to BBC Sherlock and somehow totally different). And in my opinion it promises more in the others series.
10) House and Wilson
For those who doesn’t know, the House and Wilson characters are based on Holmes and Watson. Whoever watches the series falls in love with their relationship. Wilson is the most important person on House’s life and the contrary is also truth.
I think about this so much! Aziraphale isn’t perfect, but he’s warm and earnest and affectionate and well-intentioned, and the other angels just aren’t. They’re heartless and calculating, and nothing they do or say indicates a capacity for true compassion or love. Aziraphale thinks he’s kind and loving because he’s an angel, but he’s wrong. He’s like that because he’s him.
And it’s so lonely being someone like Aziraphale in an environment like Heaven. If you go back to the scene in the first episode where he and Crowley are standing on the wall, you can see how starved he is for kindness. Crowley says one nice, comforting thing, something he knows Aziraphale desperately wants to hear (“you’re an angel, I don’t think you can do the wrong thing”) and he lights up and starts babbling. He’s so happy and grateful and excited, and he keeps reacting that same way, reaching for more of that, for the next 6000 years. It’s never quite possible for him to walk away from Crowley, no matter what reservations he might have about their opposite sides, because who else will reassure him that he did the right thing by going against his boss? Who else will openly voice the doubts and worries he’s been keeping bottled up? Who else will come get him from a French prison or save his books from a bomb or make Hamlet a hit? No one on “his side” seems to be capable of anything more than superficial friendliness, but Aziraphale needs genuine affection. Crowley, for all he makes a big deal of acting like a dick, excels at genuine affection.

A piece I made a longggg while back for a zine that unfortunately didn’t happen, but it was fun participating with all the artists!
Tony can feel the way his tanktop is sticking to his skin, his hair wet with sweat, beads dripping down his back. Steve’s eyeing him. There’s a wildness there, an instinct. Steve’s taking him apart, analyzing him, searching for weakness,hunting him. That shouldn’t be hot, not at all, but it is, especially combined with the heat Tony can see there, just under the surface, waiting to be tipped to the forefront. Steve is a gentle lover, a careful lover; and Tony is fine with that, butgod, what he wouldn’t do to have that animosity he sees in battle released on him for once (preferably in bed; or, you know, the gym floor).
He licks his lips and stares right back, waiting for Steve’s next move. Steve’s eyes follow his tongue, and he can’t help but grin. That earns him a growl, and then Steve tackles him efficiently to the floor. Tony’s expecting to get pinned, to have his arms twisted painfully behind him, and then for Steve to whisper in his ear that that’s enough for today. What he doesn’t expect is to be straddled — Steve hard against his hip — and have his tanktop ripped off. Literally ripped off.
The fabric gives a loud tearing sound as Steve rips into it like it’s tissue paper and Steve lets the tatters fall to the ground. He rises up onto his knees, muscles all tense and delicious. Tony goes to run his hands up his thighs to his cock, but Steve grabs his wrists and slams his hands to the floor, chest heaving slightly.
“Fuckin’ tease,” Steve snarls in a way that takes the express route to Tony’s dick.
“You betcha, Cap,” Tony says, cheeky as ever. “That’s me. Tony Stark: billionaire playboy cocktease.”
Steve’s face twitches and he holds Tony’s wrists above his head with one hand, not that Tony is exactly fighting him, then reaches down with the other and does to Tony’s sweatpants what he did to his tanktop. Tony is really unfairly hard right now.
“Jesus, Steve—”
“We’re going to have sex now,” Steve says in his I-Am-Captain-America voice. Who is Tony to say no to Captain America?
