As a young librarian, I started trying to figure out why more young people aren't ever coming in; 90% of our demographic are the elderly and parents of children, and the rest are a rough mix of the kids and teenagers who come in just for school projects. I had heard about porn bots on Tumblr, but I had gone for months of regular use of this site without seeing any. But these past few days, I have been getting flooded by follows from them. Are there any tools that can automatically block all users who’s names end in a 3-digit number?

Oooh music! I usually listen to playlists instead of shuffling my library, so I still have a lot of songs from like… 25% of my life ago in there that I no longer listen to, but the first 5 songs that came up that I do listen to (and skipping duplicate artists) are:

Mostly instrumental, I guess. Maybe I should have only used my ‘songs with lyrics’ playlist instead of my library, but oh well. I like this selection well enough.

Tumblr is giving us a lot of different dashes but the thing is no one wants "for you" so what I propose instead is you give me the ability to make mini-dashes with specific subsets of people I follow. Let me follow 300 people but then sort them into category. Let me have one dash for all my aesthetic stuff, another for news, another for my weird feral friends. Am I the only one who wants this? Maybe. Give it to me anyway.
