HOT TAKE: Aayla Secura was being prepared to be a future Council member. In the scenes that aren’t direct Council chambers meetings, she’s frequently there with the other Jedi Masters to strategize, with a consistency that no other Jedi are (Luminara, for example, doesn’t get the same amount of appearances). Almost every scene is one where they could have easily added in another Jedi Council member, they could have added Shaak in for her in almost every scene, they could have added Saesee, they had models for both of those characters. And it’s not that she’s giving a mission report that’s unique to her, she’s just there, as a presence, consistently, as part of even the most sensitive missions. SO, I AM FULLY CONVINCED AAYLA SECURA WAS BEING PREPARED AS A FUTURE JEDI COUNCIL MEMBER AND I LOVE THAT FOR HER BECAUSE SHE ABSOLUTELY DESERVES IT, AAYLA IS KIND AND COMPASSIONATE AND GETS SHIT DONE AND TEACHES AHSOKA AND PUTS HER LIFE ON THE LINE FOR THE CLONES AND CARES DEEPLY ABOUT PEOPLE. /THIS IS AN AAYLA SECURA STAN ACCOUNT JUST IN CASE YOU WERE WONDERING
Can't convince me it didn't happen.

Season 3 episode 1: Phee beats the crap out of Cid for 30 minutes
“Ahsoka Tano. Youngest of three, parents long gone, raised mostly by her brothers. Last year of high school, varsity lacrosse, uh… no priors, just some traffic violations.”
“Any idea what she was doing near the crime scene?”
“Victim was a friend of hers, looks like.”
“Can we question her?”
“She refuses to talk without one of her brothers. She’s a minor, so it’s probably easier to wait on them.”
“How old?”
“The younger is mid-twenties, but I doubt he’s coming. Looks like he’s on the other side of the country, has toddlers, that sort of thing. The elder is about an hour and a half away, teaches biology at a community college. He is also twenty-one years her senior, so I’m guessing he’s more of a parent than a sibling, and he’s the one she called. Said he’s on his way.”
“Bit of a gap, there. Adopted, or were the parents just taking their time, do you think?”
“Um… anyway, I heard he’s bringing his ex-wife. A lawyer, apparently.”
“Still on good enough terms? Fancy that. Well, see if you can set up a rapport before the brother arrives. I’ll see what we have on the lawyer.”
“She’s a partner at Kryze & Organa, sir. She’s Kryze.”
“…well, I’ll do what I can to prepare.”
Imagine just how popular the members of the Fellowship would be in Gondor and Rohan after the War of the Ring. They’re the heroes who saved the world, and the common folks look up at them in awe.
A few years after the end of the war, Legolas is visiting Minas Tirith when he hears a woman call his name. He turns around, surprised, only to see this stranger calling after a toddler running away from her. “Legolas, come back to mama!” she calls, over and over. There’s a baby on her hip who start crying, and she gently shushes her little Pippin. Legolas walks away, feeling wistful and wondering.
In Rohan, Éomer hears one of his men proudly announce the birth of his first child, a little boy named Merry; he smiles and congratulates the young father, making a mental note to write to Merry Brandybuck.
Gimli becomes a very popular name for little girls in Gondor, and this sends Aragorn and Legolas into hysterical fits of laughter. Gimli is unbearably proud of this fact.
Samwise and Frodo, too, become popular children names, no matter the gender, and especially amongst lower class folks. When Sam hears of the news, he turns red and sputtering.
Two decades or so after the war, Faramir almost has a heart attack when one of the new recruits of the guard of Ithilien almost sheepishly introduces himself as Boromir.
if mor was a girls girl she'd have yanked Cassian back and scolded him for bothering Nesta so much. idc if they're worst enemies or whatever but if I see a girl getting harassed by some guy after she verbally said to leave her alone, ESPECIALLY if it was my guy friend, I'd be putting his ass in his place for bothering her like ew why are u letting this man harass a girl when u were the subject of male harassment. girl ur an embarrassment to feminism and solidarity
Funnily enough, when they first meet past the edges of the Sol system, the aliens like the humans.
None of the humans were prepared for this.
The humans prepared for decades- for centuries! to contact life out in the black, and be judged harshly for their past.
The aliens, almost to the one, seemed delighted with humanity and everything they entailed. Good, bad, and ugly.
“You see, we heard you calling out for long, long, long… we could not find where you called out from. Now we have! You called for so long, and now we meet you! It is good to know you! We have tried so hard to find you and say, Hello!”
The messages Earth sent out, just in case there was anyone out there to hear, to extend reassurance that they simply were not alone was received always with delight. And they sparked a soft race to find the origin of such a kind and curious signal into the vastness of the universe.

Nesta being treated like a feral, uncontrollable thing when:
a) Azriel attacks Eris at the high lord meeting and tortures people for a living
b) Feyre attacks Beron and - inadvertently - the lady of autumn at the meeting
c) Cassian is banned from a whole court and slaughtered a whole village when he was angry
d) Rhys worked with a tyrant for 50 years
e) Mor and Amren had a fight that destroyed a mountain
Just a ton of fandom things Star Wars, ACOTAR, HP, Marauders, LOTR, anything I might be into at the moment
