Solider would fucking love Walmart
why do so many fics portray octavius as being super uptight and serious like have you seen him in canon this man is an agent of chaos and a complete enabler and enjoyer of jed’s unhinged behaviour
reverse gaslighting where i pretend to know exactly what you are talking about
Sorry not the best at writing but this idea has been stuck in my mind.(loosely based on a few other post's as well)
Imagine humans have been in space for a bit and are a well recognized specie's.
One of are most interesting things is that we look almost identical to another species who looks very similar to humans younglings. It's also known that this similar species struggling with being able to actually get pregnant or give birth. So younglings are very few in-between and fiercely protected and loved by they're entire race.
Just to also add more to this.
This species is a lot bigger and heavier then humans.
But here's the actual scenario. There's a crew in space and two of the look a likes and a teenage human start to bond over time. And the reason why the teenage human is in space because there parents didn't care and the look a likes start to develop a almost parental bond with the human.
And one day the look a likes see a class about humans and decide to take it to learn more about there human crewmate. And are horrified to learn that there companion even in humans terms are still considered a child. And after the class rush to find the human and ask if the class is true and are even more horrified to learn it is.
And so the look a likes decide to take over the parental roles for there human youngling. The human is oblivious at first but eventually catch on and honestly is over joyed to learn this.
I just think it'd make a really neat found family story :]
I’m tired of the “scout has low pain tolerance” and “scout is afraid of medic” (along with the other mercs) trend
Like, you think the youngest of eight brothers wouldn’t walk off a jaw shattering punch to the face?? You think the guy who runs in-between bullets would fold immediately after being skimmed in the arm?? The man literally runs head first into danger and you’re gonna tell me he has low pain tolerance?? HE’S THE ONE ACTIVELY RUNNING INTO IT!! He was shot in the stomach by a robot and literally didn’t complain about it despite the fact he was actively dying!!
Like I get the joke of him being good against terrible mounts of pain but folding at something like a paper cut but I’m tired of people saying he wouldn’t be able to handle himself from a sizable injury despite the fact that’s an expectation of his job.
And none of the mercs hate medic or are scared of him, I’m tired of seeing that discussion. Scout, who was the first person after Heavy to get the Uber-transplant heart—you think he’s scared of medic?? that man probably fought tooth and nail to be the first one in there!! he may be childish but he is not a child and im tired of these seemingly child-like traits be assigned to him despite the fact there is evidence against it :,)
my favorite interpretation of tav from BG3 is that they’re just a dumbass that somehow has incredible luck. they make poor decisions yet somehow still manage to survive and help people.
comic i made based on a vc conversation about "a stoner comedy where they hit buddha with their car"
Humans are space orcs, but humans are real fucking sneaky and don't tell anyone they're predators after realizing that other sentient species are all prey. It starts out as wanting to assimilate without any negative stigma, but eventually they realize that we're really alone as sentient predators.
So q human goes on a research ship and that ship gets stranded on a deathworld and everyone freaks put bc they don't know how to handle this but the human's just like 'build shelter, hunt food, start a fire' and they're all like 'hunt food???!!' And they human's like 'shit'.
So they see a human climb trees, throw shit, track prey and realize 'oh no, that thing could kill us' but the human's helping and they don't really have the man power to get rid of them.
And eventually they realize the whole pack bonding thing is stronger than the predatory instincts and are relieved
I hate how oddly sexualized breasts are, and how oddly sexualized bedrooms are, and I hate how anything not inherently sexual gets sexualized, it was hot outside and me and my boyfriend were watching his friend repair his truck at my house and I had a shirt off and only my binder on since yk it was hot out, and the other guys also had their shirts off and it was considered fine, but when me and my boyfriend went to go relax in the ac in my room I changed from my binder to a sports bra cause my ribs hurt and kept a shirt off cause I was still sweating a lot and really hot, and my mom came in complaining about how I need to wear a shirt and how it's weird to wear only a bra in a bedroom with your significant other even though she knows I'm ace and she thinks it's weird since he isn't ace and I have breasts and bedrooms are sexualized, why is it okay to not have a shirt as one assigned gender and not the other, why are certain environments more sexualized than others, it makes no sense especially since we weren't doing anything sexual, neither me nor him made it weird, but my mom was making a huge deal out of having tits in a bedroom
maybe it's cause I'm autistic or maybe cause I'm asexual but I think the oversexualization of literally everything is weird
I like to think that Miguel just saw Peni going through the most traumatic shit a teenager can deal with(not good) and was like, yeah now it's time to bring her in, I want that traumatized girl on my team Peter B being like, Oh gosh it's been so long since I saw that little tech girl, and then see her like that This is basically a scene from the PSX game of Lain, but I thought it was cool
