imagine showing any of the celestials that stupid little illusion that makes it look like youre pulling your thumb off and they all collectively lose their SHIT. like freaking out, yelling at solomon for teaching you dangerous magic, asking why youd ever do such a stupid thing, only for you to put it back and theyre just so baffled. once its been explained, diavolo and mammon would be enamoured, begging you to show them the trick behind it.
by extension. telling one of them youve "got their nose" and running off, only for them to chase after you and demand for it back. luke just straight up bursts into tears.
Little ramble
I don't mind Shadowpeach as a romantic ship - I find it very fun that it as a romantic relationship can be left completely up to viewer interpretation - but personally, I see it as a found family thing.
It's walking a line between friends and brothers. Like they were once so close they called each other brothers (putting the Brotherhood thing aside for a moment), and even now that they're separated they view each other somewhat as more past brothers than past bffs.
On that note, I need to see Macaque freeing Wukong. I need to see them again. Period.
Because if I am not SUPER CLEAR ABOUT THIS someone will come find my corner of the internet and accuse me of something: ship away! All the ships! I don't care! (Excluding problematic ones but we're not talking about those right now). Personally I think romantic relationships are left better off out of canon, and that's why fanfic exists.
I like Shadowpeach. For other people. I like reading them freak out about how they're married and draw cute comics about them kissing or being gay.
For me? They're found family.
And at the end of the day, we all get our cute little monkeys (I wrote this as monkies what has the show done to me), so it's nice to have a little corner to collectively vibe in.
Interesting how everyone talks about how the Rise crew intended to make Leo grow into the leadership role but nobody mentions how Raph as the leader grew on them and they genuinely wanted to keep it that way but Nick forced them to make Leo the leader anyways 🤔
Here’s the comment, the blogger wishes to remain anonymous due to prior harassment:
Like, the fact that they liked Raph being in charge this much speaks volumes about how they truly thought he was a good leader - like, why would they want to keep him as leader unless he was actually good at it, which he was? And this doesn’t even go into how they gave him a wonderful character arc in Anatawa Hitorijanai that tied to him being a leader, which just goes to show how much they adore him in such a role.
Anyways, this gives me all the validation for Raph still being in charge and him co-leading with Leo, plus the movie kept things intentionally ambiguous (I like to think that the Rise writers fought for Raph to remain in charge because they really love him that much considering there was a planned and explicit change of leadership in the movie’s deleted final scene which the Rise crew likely went ‘no <3′ to just like Nick did to them lol).
As always, fuck Nickelodeon for not letting the writers have creative freedom and for being total scumbags.

fic idea: hobie and pavitr break into the British museum to steal back everything that was took without permission and give it back to it's native country
As sad as Arthur and John's deaths are, I can't help but laugh at the thought of Arthur in the afterlife at peace that he got to save his brother only for John to show up just over a decade later riddled with bullet holes and Arthur just immediately slams the 'antagonise' button.
