TO THE BONE IS A 16+ THRILLER/SUPERNATURAL/ROMANCE IF WIP. IT IS THE FIRST BOOK IN THE "HUNTING SEASON" DUOLOGY INSPIRED BY AND BASED ON THE SHOW "YELLOWJACKETS".

When a chartered plane taking you and your classmates along with your teachers to your senior year trip crashes deep in the Canadian wilderness, you and the other survivors find yourselves isolated and without any means of communication with the outside world. As the initial shock subsides, the group of students with vastly diverse personalities, some of which have never even talked with each other before, must band together to find food, water, and shelter while hoping they'll be rescued. Sooner rather than later.

But days turn into nights, and the boundaries between reality and nightmare blur. The isolation plays on all of your fears, desires, and insecurities. The strange symbols you find all around the woods and the weird noises you hear at night are making you all question if the woods are as abandoned as you thought. The passing weeks with no sign of rescue laced with constant dread and uncertainty make you wonder if any of you will even survive this ordeal. Or if there’s something else out there trying very hard to keep you in the woods.

Stranded in a remote and unforgiving landscape, the teens must confront not only the challenges of their surroundings but also the darker aspects of human nature that emerge as they struggle for survival. Unexplainable events start unfolding, and you quickly realize that your relationships and personal conflicts could be just as deadly as the ominous wilderness itself as winter leaves you cold and tired.

She makes it obvious how much she dislikes you every time you pass by, her bossy attitude and scrunched up nose a constant whenever you're around. She's always focused on her academics, trying hard to make her parents proud while strutting around the school with her posse and donning perfectly-styled blonde hair falling perfectly on her back, covered from head to toe in perfectly fitting clothes. Everything about her screams “preppy” and “old Money”, and she'll do anything to make sure no one stains that reputation. (RO, she/her)

The Skater Boy - Laid-back and rebellious, River Rockwell is well known around the school for being joined at the hip with his skateboard and skipping classes as often as he can. The self-proclaimed ‘misunderstood loner’ was the only one bummed about the class trip, thinking he won't be able to sneak in all the booze and weed he wanted to bring. But he seemed to change his mind really quick after finding out you'd be going. Weird, right? But you're sure it's nothing to worry about even as you catch his brown eyes following you wherever you go, fists clenched and jaw tight. Yeah, absolutely nothing to worry about at all. (RO, he/him)

The Goth - In the midst of the chaos and uncertainty that envelops the group of survivors, Sabrina Dyer stands out as a figure of quiet strength and unyielding resolve. Her friendship is unwavering, and she often demonstrates her affection through actions rather than words. But what lengths will she go to in order to ensure the safety of her newfound friends? Like you, they are back for the summer, ready to disappoint their parents. Rooming together comes as a natural result of delaying said disappointment (or so Kai claimed).

Elara Pallas [RO] - The Counciler - Elf

Lady Elara Pallas is an elf and a member of the order. Her family is comprised of great scholars who have always placed a strong emphasis on her education and knowledge.

From a young age, Elara showed a remarkable aptitude for learning, and she quickly became known for her intelligence and analytical skills.

As she grew older, Elara became more interested in the world outside of Celestia. She studied the histories of different kingdoms, dangerous plants, and creatures that lurked around the forest that surrounds the gates of Celestia. She also learned about the ancient order of warriors and their role in maintaining peace, which fascinated her.

Elara was determined to join the order and become a councilor member herself. She knew that the hard work she put into studying and learning could finally be put to good use in the order, and she was eager to make a difference in the world.

As a councilor member of the order, Elara quickly distinguished herself as a skilled strategist. She was responsible for overseeing the order’s operations and making crucial decisions, and her calm and collected demeanor made her a respected figure within the kingdom.

Physical Appearance:

Elara has russet, reddish-brown skin with a warm, sun-kissed glow to it. Her big, dark eyes are full of intelligence and depth, and they sparkle with a curious glint whenever something interests her. Her features are delicate and refined, with full, expressive lips. Her hair is a rich shade of dark brown and falls in soft, shoulder-length ringlets around her face.

Elara is not one to draw attention to herself, and despite her parents disapproval, she prefers to dress in simple, comfortable clothing that allows her to move freely and focus on her work.

hey anon, I apologize for the delayed response. I had an issue with my inbox where I could see notifications, but no questions were visible. Thankfully, the issue has been fixed now. <3

Aurelian: Aurelian will not immediately show his emotions as he tries to comprehend and make sense of his feelings, considering he has never really encountered love before. As he falls in love, he will display more affection and attentiveness towards the person he is attracted to. As his feelings for them grow stronger, he will become more possessive and insistent on spending time with them.

Elara: at first, she may make an effort to appear professional and attentive in public, but as she falls in love, she will gradually become more candid and expressive towards the person she likes. This shift in behavior could lead to occasional episodes of distraction, where she will find herself daydreaming or losing focus on her work. But, she will quickly regain her composure and return to her tasks, with a determination to sort out her emotions at a later time.

Kazuo: given his reserved and guarded nature, it may be difficult to detect if he has a crush as he tends to keep his emotions to himself and struggles to express them, even to the person he cares about. However, as his feelings deepen over time, he will start to exhibit subtle changes in behavior. He will become more protective and expressive towards the person he loves, going above and beyond to ensure their safety and well-being. Despite his stoic facade, he will eventually become more emotionally vulnerable around the person he loves, allowing his guard to drop and be more open.

Aiden/Ava: you will 100% be able to tell if, A has a crush on someone, unless you are really oblivious. When A is around their crush, they will become more affectionate and clingy, and their behavior will change noticeably. They will become nervous or fidgety, and their face will turn red with embarrassment. Despite their best efforts to be subtle and maintain their composure, they will fail miserably, and their true feelings will be quite obvious to others. In fact, people in the kingdom, even children, will pick up on A's crush and tease them about it.

SC: they will be very tricky to know, since they’re very flirty in nature. So you wouldn’t know if they’re truly in love or is it all a trick?

Quick update: The cold is gone, but I still have coughs, but they're manageable lol. Also, I finally finished my project and submitted it! Ahh freedom at last.

The second thing I want to talk about is that I finished most of the ROS portraits on artbreeder. I just need to write their info and the ROS will be finally done!

Now I'm taking a little break and playing totk. Off topic, I really want to buy RE4 the remake someday.

Yeah, that thing that I was afraid of because I always had in mind to eventually make my game into twine. It might not compare, but I know the struggle of changing from one code source to another with past projects I did for college, and I really don’t want to stress over it when I could continue writing chapters.
