chapter 1: The royal advisor took a deep breath and looked through the recent report the lead knight fave him. He anxiously looked at the large throne room doors. They were twice the size of a man with a golden pattern embedded on them. The royal advisor swallowed a nervous lump in his throat before timidly reaching a shaking hand to the brass door knocker, he grasped it and knocked three times
The doors glowed a bright gold before swining open reavealing a large and beautiful throne room. it had a ceiling of glass , a floor of marble, with a red carpet leading to the other end of the room. On the walls were banners with previous kings and queens on them
At the very back of the room, on a glorious golden throne, sat Queen Lartissa. She had gleaming and dissaproving yellow eyes and a long blue and gold dress with a small, pointed tiara on her head.
The royal advisor's pointed ears drooped under her sharp gaze. "what is it?" she asked impatiently, drumming her nails on the armrest of her throne.

hi!!! i made that tom and jerry post!!! just so you know it was 100% satire, making fun of people that unironically send that type of message about other shows, like, saying that any show that depicts anything other than total peace and pacifism is problematic somehow!!
like i once actually got a message saying ben 10 on cartoon network is problematic because it depicts a 10 year old in life threatening situations and i was like....... its a cartoon lmao???? what?????
so i chose tom and jerry because its literally just a silly fun show to show how absurd they sound <3 i actually love tom and jerry

HOW TO DRAW A HAND
first you want a line as your arm/wrist, then you want a square as your palm
next is the beginning of the thumb, the thumb is one of my favorite parts to draw, though it just looks like a triangle now, this is what you drew
that part of the thumb. remember to use your own hands as refrance
step three is to flesh out your fingers. these are going to be your guidlines for you fingers so be sure to draw light. remember, pinkie is shortest, middle is longest, and ring and pointer are around the same size. but dont be afraid to experiment with different lengths for different characters
now put some meat on those bones, good job. those are your fingers. if you dont like the thickness you can always adjust. dont be afraid of making mistakes
now we flesh out the thumb. you can kinda see how its a hand now, cant ya? but we aint done. no sirrie.
this is a step a lot of people dont care to do, but it makes your drawing look better. you want to add a bit of curve with the connection between the pointer and thumb to mimic the curve your own hand has
i highlighted it in red just in case yall didnt know what i was talking about
the next step is to carefully erase the guidelines, though they were helpful they tend to make our drawing look bad. unless you want fingerless gloves on your hand i reccomend erasing the guidlines
the next part is making the arm/wrist. one part of the arm is pretty straight while the other side has a sort of buldge. this is the mucle in the arm. the way i angled my paper to take a pic put it out of proporttion tho, dont make it too big. unless thats what your going for, rember to use your own arm as a refrance if you need.
again your gonna wanna lose the guideline. its helpful but in the end needs to go or our drawing looks weird
now make it look like the hand and arm are actually connected. this is pretty helpful, but if you want to add gloves or somethingn i would recommend keeping the line.
now add texture to the palm. the soft lines are optional but the curve near the thumb is pretty important as it is a mucle you have in your thumb. dont belive me? feel your own hand and see for yourself.
and thats how you draw a hand!! i have some extra steps to make it more realistic... should i post those too? okk, so people said add extra steps but im fuckin too tired for this shiz so just shade :)
