Quick question for the artists of tumblr and anyone who'll answer. Any tips for drawing detailed cityscapes in a way that feels less overwhelming. Like I wanna get a bunch of small details in there that'd give it life and character, but then I run out of energy and interest to do so. Also, the colors. Buildings are all different colors but if I were to want it to be like a sunset scene or night time, the background would probably be a deeper magenta or an indigo type color, but the buildings in the foreground would have to show the lighting and atmosphere while also showing their base colors, which is the issue, what if I want a green building but at sunset? Would that even mix well?

Here. Meme that some external unknown force made me make. Idk.
Horror artist/expert side of tumblr, I have a question:
How would you go about drawing, or just making in general, an image (could be for a picture where a person is the anomaly or the environment is) where everything looks, like REALLY looks absolutely normal, like it could be a bright sunny day where everyone's outside, but something is just unsettling. Like in such a way that it would be difficult to the viewers to even pick apart why it's unsettling. But they just know something is off.
Addition to this:

Drew Alastor on both paper with marker and also on digital. Ngl the camera did not do the marker version justice, I'll see if I can get a better picture later.
⬆️ The pictures above are what happens when I give my friend who has never watched the show my tablet with screenshots from the show on it and open on the drawing app. I apologize for whatever chaos this has caused.
My dog loves watching TV and I love watching him watch TV. If I can catch footage of how he sits while watching TV I will, but it's like he has a sixth sense for the camera.

Was playing totk and fighting a monster (I forgot the name, but the tall ones that live in caves and crawl on ceilings) when the game decided I wasn't going to fight it and dragged it into Hyrule's core in front of my eyes. Twice. It tried to crawl up to escape once, did, and got pulled straight back down to Tartarus. What did it do to deserve that?
I can only draw when the gremlin living rent free in my brain tells me to and the same goes with posting. Also I do not do art commissions as of right now.
