Yeah, that's the hill I'd die on, too.
I know it’s not hard to point out reactionaries hypocrisy when it comes to like safe spaces or hug boxes or whatever but genuinely how much of an echo chamber do you have to exist in for you to think this is a reasonable thing to say
This is really true. You have to check yourself.
Did you know that after they switched to blind auditions, major symphony orchestras hired women between 30% to 55% more? Before bringing in “blind auditions” with a screen to conceal the the candidate, women in the top 5 major orchestras made up less than 5% of the musicians performing.
I mean, yeah ..
Very nice!
Nice.
I, too, reblog because this must be known.
If they feel shy about it, they could always cover Blue Moon!
For all of y’all who didn’t get the memo.
Google sources:
The word Eskimo is an offensive term that has been used historically to describe the Inuit throughout their homeland, Inuit Nunangat, in the arctic regions of Alaska, Greenland and Canada, as well as the Yupik of Alaska and northeastern Russia, and the Inupiat of Alaska. Strictly speaking, eskimos can also be regarded as native Americans, because what western people call ‘eskimos’ are actually the indigenous people inhabiting parts of the northern circumpolar region ranging from Siberia to parts of the Americas (Alaska and Canada). The native people of the northern polarcircle do not actually call themselves ‘Eskimos’; this is a term given to them by European settlers. The term Eskimo is regarded by many as a derogative term because it is used to describe a very large group of people with different traits and languages. Furthermore, if translated into Alonquin laguage (spoken by indigenous people in Ontario and Quebec, Canada), ‘Eskimo’ means: ‘eaters of raw meat’. Obviously, eating raw meat is not the one thing that defines the Inuit people of Canada, or ‘Inuk’ if referring to a single person of Inuit descent.

Good lord. We're back where we were when I got into anime-- piracy, all the way down! And it's like they WANT us to do it!
Oh…. Well, it’s over for Crunchyroll I guess
Okay, here's how it works: Blast Chiller. It works the same way that the Wind Chill factor works. You blow super-cold air over something and KEEP IT MOVING and it cools off really fast. You can also get an anti-griddle! Anti-griddles rely on the same principle-- recirculating cold stuff so that it doesn't warm up so it sucks heat out faster. (It works better on stuff that's fairly flat, because of the whole surface area to volume thing.) I can't find any for sale for home use, but maybe if you contact Breville, they can hook you up?
they need a reverse microwave to make things colder for me to eat
I cook pretty well. I often adjust the recipes as I go, too.
I don’t even care if it’s macaroni, ramen or those little bowls you stick in the microwave. Please, I need reassurance that most of the population on tumblr WOULDN’T STARVE TO DEATH if their parents couldn’t fix them food or they couldn’t go out to eat.
THAT’S how low the threshold is!?
do you own enough books to be considered a library (500+)
Yes.
