100% this. Why is it bad if the people who own tons of land lose money? Fuck those guys!
I can't improve on this. Just reblogging.

That's a good idea, honestly. Maybe even offer both?
First Tuesday of the month here.
And you can always tell when someone hasn't been living in the midwest and starts freaking out.
They also start freaking out when they hear about tornado watches. Tornado Watch? That just means that there's some weather going on. It's OK. Relax. Don't be dumb if we get actual funnel clouds, but just a watch? Chill. Chill.
I think my favorite culture shook conversation between myself and Joy happened when the first time she (British) was visited me (USA) for longer then a month.
Joy calling me at work in a panic: "WHY ARE THE BOMB SIRENS GOING OFF."
Me: "Oh yeah it's Wednesday."
Joy: "..."
Me: "..."
Joy: "THAT EXPLAINS NOTHING!"
For those who don't know, it's really awesome music; a bunch of remixes of it are in my (vast) play list.
How to explain
This is how we got here, yeah.
My cartoon for the latest issue of New Scientist.
This would be great, but can we please do something to stop the big property management groups from buying everything up and turning it into overpriced one-bedroom apartments that can only be afforded by three roommates each working two jobs plus a gig economy "job" on the side?

Hey, it's worth spreading around! Cool idea for places and times when trees aren't an option!
Honestly, this so badly needs to be spread out there. This is how it works. Acceptance is how you help.
This is it
Once again Haiku bot brings a post that's well worth sharing.

Okay, I realize this hilariously late for Asexuality Awareness Week (which was last week), but due to unforeseen stressors, it didn’t really get done in time.
Anyway! I’ve wanted to do something like this for a while, and I’m proud of myself of actually getting a six page comic done within a week. (Not that it’s really anything super fancy, but it’s better than nothing lol) I do apologize for the massive ugly text wall that is page four but I had a hard time figuring out how to convey it visually while being kind of pressed for time. oh and the occasional copy/paste, I’m sorry for that too
Enjoy! Click on the separate pictures if the text is hard to read.
I hope someone reads this somewhere and it saves a life.
HOW TO SURVIVE A HEART ATTACK WHEN ALONE Let’s say it’s 6.15pm and you’re going home (alone of course), after an unusually hard day on the job. You’re really tired, upset and frustrated. Suddenly you start experiencing severe pain in your chest that starts to drag out into your arm and up into your jaw. You are only about five miles from the hospital nearest your home. Unfortunately you don’t know if you’ll be able to make it that far. You have been trained in CPR, but the guy that taught the course did not tell you how to perform it on yourself..!! NOW HOW TO SURVIVE A HEART ATTACK WHEN ALONE… Since many people are alone when they suffer a heart attack, without help, the person whose heart is beating improperly and who begins to feel faint, has only about 10 seconds left before losing consciousness. However, these victims can help themselves by coughing repeatedly and very vigorously. A deep breath should be taken before each cough, and the cough must be deep and prolonged, as when producing sputum from deep inside the chest. A breath and a cough must be repeated about every two seconds without let-up until help arrives, or until the heart is felt to be beating normally again. Deep breaths get oxygen into the lungs and coughing movements squeeze the heart and keep the blood circulating. The squeezing pressure on the heart also helps it regain normal rhythm. In this way, heart attack victims can perhaps buy precious time to get themselves to a phone and dial 911.
