The day you sent me that ask, I ended up finding out more about it, and I have a better answer for you now.
That series looks like it could’ve been really cute, and awesome! The storyline is super cute, the characters are just AMAZING! (Also, I wasn’t gonna say it, but Kiki definitely looks and reminds me of Niffty-)
That story definitely had a lot of potential.

No. Just because the bears look to be the same type of bear, it doesn’t mean one of them got inspired by the other. I just think they were inspired by bears up in general.
do you dislike the episode onion gang?
No. I actually quite like it. Gives you a small look into Onions life. He’s just a kid. He’s not really NORMAL. But, neither is anyone else. He has friends that he has to wait to see. Which is a bit sad. Cause I have a friend that I have to wait for every 5 months a year to see them. Most people want to see their friend(s) so badly and they can’t wait. They love them too much. Of course, I can’t really tell what Onion is feeling most of the time, but….
