Right now, Diya is separated from his family in Gaza and has been for over a year. His family is facing the second winter since they were displaced from their home. The winters in Gaza are harsh. People are taking shelter in flimsy tents, that don't protect them from the wind and rain. The rain brings with it flooding that destroys everything. Diseases are spreading with no access to proper sanitation and medical care. When they went to receive polio vaccinations, they witnessed an IOF attack on the taxi in front of them.

The last donation was 6 hours ago, and there have only been 4 donations in the 24 hours. We need to help Diya reach his short-term goal of 30% so he can help his family purchase winter supplies that they need to survive. It is already November. There is literally no time to waste. But the pain didn’t stop there. Just yesterday, we lost my children's grandfather 💔, not due to direct war, but because of malnutrition and the lack of basic life necessities. We couldn’t save him, just as we couldn’t save our home or our dreams.

The rest of my family is still trapped in the war, suffering the same harsh conditions that led to the passing of my children's grandfather. We are here trying to build a new life, but we have lost everything. We lost our home, and my children were deprived of their schools and universities. Even my eldest son, who worked so hard to build his future, lost his job and saw his dreams shattered.😔

We are now in desperate need of your help. We seek to secure a safe home that will provide us and our children with basic needs. hey guys i've been assigned four days of back to back 12 hour shifts this week that i must show up for despite my deteriorating health and the whole time i was just thinking about Mohammed (@ayeshjourney). for those who still don't know, Mohammed Ayesh is the ONLY active vetter (@gaza-evacuation-funds) we have on tumblr at the moment, and he actively meets with, talks to, and verifies families in need in the midst of ever-escalating iof attacks.

it is a little known fact that Mohammed's day job is in health care. other than the small moments when there are no catastrophic bombardments when he could find internet and verify families' campaigns for us, he is transporting wounded and martyred Palestinians every single day and night. in an active war zone.

there hasn't been donations to Mohammed in almost 4 hours. this is incredibly scary, especially since the iof announced another round of systematic raids on central Gaza, where Mohammed works and where his family lives, just today.
