Journey of Survival ،From Destruction to Hope😫 Hello, my brothers
Everything around us has been destroyed, even our minds are shattered. I can no longer fully express how I feel. We’ve been displaced more than eight times, moving from the north of Gaza to the south, leaving behind our home and everything we own, hoping we would return in just a few days. But the reality was far more cruel than we expected. We sought refuge in schools, and there, my cousin was killed when the school was bombed. We fled after the brutal attack and searched for another safe place.💔
We ended up in another school in an area called Al-Nasr, where we slept in the hallways due to the large number of people. I was struggling to protect my family—my four sisters and my brother Yasser—while facing the constant challenge of survival. Every morning at 6 a.m., I would wake up and wander the streets searching for anything we could eat. After all this hardship, we were shocked when tanks entered the area, firing shells and machine guns. We had to flee again, trying to survive once more. As the bombing intensified, we ran between bodies lying on the ground, terrified for my younger siblings, who shouldn’t have to witness such destruction at their age.😰
I took them to southern Gaza, believing it to be a safe zone as we were told. Unfortunately, it wasn’t. There, I lost both my grandfather and uncle. We then fled from Rafah in the far south to the east of Deir al-Balah, but the house we were sheltering in was bombed. Once again, we had to move, this time to Nuseirat, and later returned to the west of Deir al-Balah. The constant displacement was exhausting and relentless.😫

hey guys i've been assigned four days of back to back 12 hour shifts this week that i must show up for despite my deteriorating health and the whole time i was just thinking about Mohammed (@ayeshjourney). for those who still don't know, Mohammed Ayesh is the ONLY active vetter (@gaza-evacuation-funds) we have on tumblr at the moment, and he actively meets with, talks to, and verifies families in need in the midst of ever-escalating iof attacks.
it is a little known fact that Mohammed's day job is in health care. other than the small moments when there are no catastrophic bombardments when he could find internet and verify families' campaigns for us, he is transporting wounded and martyred Palestinians every single day and night. in an active war zone.
there hasn't been donations to Mohammed in almost 4 hours. this is incredibly scary, especially since the iof announced another round of systematic raids on central Gaza, where Mohammed works and where his family lives, just today.
from one health care worker to another, from one countryman who fears for the future of his country, who strives to do the best he can for his fellow compatriots, please. donate whatever you can spare. my humble request is that we can help Mohammed's family get to 25k by the end of week.

We walked on foot, the longest distance I have ever walked in my life. I was displaced to a tent with the rest of my family, and it was very difficult, tiring and exhausting. My name is Mohamed Mabrouk, and I live outside the Gaza Strip, but my heart and mind are with my family who is suffering there. Due to the ongoing war, our home was bombed, and now my wife and children are sleeping on the streets. These harsh conditions fill me with worry and fear for their safety.
Being away from them makes me feel increasingly helpless. Each passing day, I find it harder to sleep or focus on anything, consumed by constant concern for their well-being.
I write this story to seek help and donations to rescue them. I need to raise funds to get them to a safe place where they can live with dignity. I am Aboud from Gaza. I am 21 years old. Since the beginning of the war, we have held out in the north in our home. After that, the occupation threatened our home. My family and I went to another place and were displaced more than once.
We witnessed the ugliest days of our lives. After less than a week, my mother became tired and suffered from cancer, and we did not find a cure for her. There were no hospitals, and all the hospitals were destroyed We only went to the south, and to this day my mother suffers and there is no treatment, and she only needs to be transported abroad. My mother had the operation on October 6 and was discharged from the emergency situation due to the intensive care situation. She did not receive the attention and references of the crisis. Today, she suffers from a tumor in the uterus and just needs to move it abroad, and she did not receive it due to the closure of the Rafah crossing.

Every day brings a new challenge for Mohammad, from finding a simple meal to feed his family, to his desperate efforts to secure diapers and milk for Reema, who deserves a quiet life, free from the world’s pain. Yet Mohammad asks for so little—only a safe home, enough food to feed his children, and warmth that his little ones deserve.
