Y’know what I love about Shifting? The amount of times I’m gonna drag my Dr family and friends to come with me to attend Seventeen Concerts. Like, I know Meg’s and my twin brother dread it (but know I love Seventeen) when I mention my favourite group😭
Not really shifting related but omg?
My umbrella finally broke after it was fighting me in the middle of the rain, and in the middle of the station..
And a lot of people had to witness some showdown😭
Like dramatic much?
Your cr is one of the many realities in the multiverse just like your dr.
Im not begging to shift, shifting is begging me.
Im not in love with shifting, shifting is in love with me.
Im not waiting to go to my dr, my dr is waiting for me to come.
(Does that make sense?)
Remember, you are not shifting to another world. You are shifting to another you. Connect with your DR self as much as you can. That is all you need to do - be your DR self, and you will be.
You see that line in Spiderman Into The Spiderverse ;
"that's all it is, Miles. A leap of faith."
I think it apply to shifters.
The whole movie apply to shifters. This thing about how you need to believe in yourself by failling over and over again to build a trust in yourself.
The fact that when Miles jump, the glass broke because he's still nervous, stressed, he have doubts.
And yet he jumped.
On top of that ? He succed.
He did not just jump of a building and survived because of the web shoot. He jumped, and became spiderman.
This jump was all he needed. This trust he had in himself, even if he wasn't fully sure of what he was doing, was what he needed. To archive what he wanted, to became spiderman.
Before this jump, he took a breath. He realized. Then. He jumped.
I don't know if you see what I mean—
TAKE A BREATH
THIS REALITY YOU WILL GO IN IS A REAL ONE. JUST AS THE ONE YOU'RE IN RIGHT NOW.
REALIZE.
JUMP.
You're enough !!!! You just need to believe in yourself, not giving up. All you have to do is to jump.
I don't know if it helped someone, if at least you understood what I meant, if it gives a bit of motivation but I tried.
The vibes in my jjk reality
I tried, but it’s basically out of context and chaotic + us first years + curses yo
Surrender.
You are in control. You have always been. You can shift and you will shift.
Stop looking for answers outside yourself.
You already have all it takes to wake up in your DR.
You are the key to shifting because you are all you need to shift.
Relax.
There's nothing left for you to do.
Stop overthinking it. Stop overcomplicating it.
Breathe.
Let go of control. It's okay. You got this.
Shifting is inevitable.
Accept it; YOU WILL SHIFT.
I believe in you, happy shifting <3

Not gonna lie, this was mainly for me. But hopefully, someone else needed to hear it too.
↳ imagine hearing a familiar voice and realizing you recognize it from a million fan edits – but this time, it's real and meant for you.
↳ imagine catching a glimpse of a familiar place from your favorite movie/show/game/etc and realizing it's even better in person.
↳ imagine seeing something in your DR that you’ve been thinking about for months, like it was waiting for you
↳ imagine hearing your DR friends/family laughing in the next room when you first shift.
↳ imagine trying new foods and having a moment of pure excitement when you realize it's your new favorite.
↳ imagine laughing with who you shifted for so hard to the point neither of you can breathe.
↳ imagine locking eyes with your S/O for the first time.
↳ imagine waking up in a new place and immediately feeling comfort in your surroundings, like everything’s just right.
↳ imagine watching the sunset in a place that’s been your dream destination, knowing the view is exactly like you’ve always pictured it.
↳ imagine noticing a small detail in your surroundings that you didn’t expect, but it makes everything feel a little better.
↳ imagine finally tasting that dish you’ve been craving, and it’s exactly as good as you hoped.
↳ imagine that split second of realization when you see your reflection, and looking exactly how you’ve always wanted to.
↳ imagine that rush of excitement when you finally experience a hobby or activity you’ve dreamed about.
↳ imagine hearing that one phrase or word you’ve only read or imagined being said to you in real life.
↳ imagine looking at something you've always wanted to own, and finally being able to hold it in your hands.
...
why keep longing for something that is already yours?
To shift realities you need to start to:
Think about being there already and not about the process of shifting.
Which is why you start to embody your dr self.
In your DR, who are you? how old are you? what’s your job occupation? Any errands you need to run tomorrow?
We all know that the shift in the mindset is instantaneous and real. So once you have embodied the thoughts of someone who is in their dr, you’ve shifted. It’s done.
Then persist.
Once you have done that, then you can think about your dr surroundings.
Personally, I think it’s quite confusing when people think about their surroundings rather than their dr self, their thoughts and feelings etc. But if that works for you then that’s okay.
So to sum up what’s been said:
1) Connect to dr self
E.g.
“So when I wake up tmrw i need to clean my house and call my friends over”
“My name is __ and i’m so thankful that im __”
2) Then connect to surroundings
“My bed feels so soft… I don’t even wanna get out of bed i’m so comfortable”
“Wait my perfume smells so good right now”
(You can even do these at the same time but i prefer to do it in this order)
You don’t even need to visualise, if you tell your subconscious you’re feeling something in your dr, it has to accept that though repetition (affirming) and persistence.
3) You have shifted.
The key is persistence. so what if the 3D shows you otherwise? Ignore it, it’s simply a reflection of your past assumptions….
You can still shift with your doubts.
It's a common belief that to shift, you need to change your mindset. For many, the concept of shifting feels impossible, a radical departure from the ordinary life they've always known. "How can I make myself believe and know that I can do this if it's total madness?" "How can I change my mindset if I haven't seen anything extraordinary my whole life?"
Gaslight yourself? Try toxic positivity? No.
Instead of trying to force yourself to believe, try embracing your doubts. Add a simple "BUT" thought to them. For example, "This is all completely crazy. I don't know how to shift BUT I can still somehow do it." Or, "I'm desperate, BUT I can still shift. Even if not now, maybe it will happen later at a random moment."
The point is that you don't force yourself to change your beliefs, but you leave yourself the option to shift anyway. Accept your skepticism and your hope. It's like having a backup plan – you are allowing yourself to shift, even if you don't fully believe it yet.
This is similar to the concept of letting go of control and trusting in some mysterious Fate. "I don't believe in myself, I've tried everything and nothing works, BUT since I've learnt about shifting, I'll do it sooner or later. Fate will help me or something, I don't care, it will happen somehow." Embrace the possibility, even with your doubts, and let go. You can shift, even if you don't believe it yet.
