I just finished reading “Fathers and Mothers and Daughters and Sons” in one sitting & it was amazing, it was beautiful, funny, heartbreaking—I’m at a loss of words, I loved that fic so much in-spite of the bittersweetness it invoked—10/10, chef’s kiss!

Thank you for reading that story and for writing such a thoughtful comment! That is the story that put me on this twisted path, and how a lot of readers found my work. Even though there are things I would change, I really can't hate the story itself. GetoHime is, to me, a fundamentally hilarious ship about two people who are a little nuts, but Geto is very good at hiding it and Utahime can't contain herself (however, her brand of crazy is just the every day, capitalist-patriarchy-induced kind). It means a lot to know that people are still reading that story, so once again, thank you!

Oui, c’est moi. I don’t know if I have a sophisticated enough understanding of organized crime, let alone the Yakuza to pull this off. Never say never, but I’m sharing this in case someone out there is looking for a GetoHime prompt, or is thinking about writing Yakuza Geto and needs to see that people are interested. I’m also going to shout out Chloé Jafé’s I give you my life, a photograph exhibit featuring Yakuza and particularly Yakuza wives. It actually inspired a GetoHime story of mine by the same name!
